The Freedom Peddler

We had our son home from college for the holidays and today I had to drive him to Rumney, New Hampshire to meet up with a college friend. On the way there he stated at one point, "This town is called Freedom." He wasn't really making a big deal about it but I gather he thought it was neat. Wouldn't it be nice to live in freedom all of the time? After three hours or so of driving with only a detour through a fast-food restaurant we reached our destination, unloaded the car, loaded his friends car, and said our good byes. They had another three hours or so to go from his friends home to the school. And of course I had to do my three hours or so back home. On the way back I passed through Freedom again.

As I drove through the small town (it appeared small from my vantage point); as I drove through the small town I noticed a strip mall or market named The Freedom Peddler. It wasn't much really (the picture above is much nicer) but the name got me thinking.

The Freedom Peddler

That is what we are in a sense I think. We peddle freedom. Well we don't directly but our websites do. And our Wealthy Affiliate link pages do.

First there is freedom from worry because once you have knowledge, a plan, a vision, and the tools to bring that to fruition you tend to not worry about not having a plan for the future. so there is freedom from worry. We peddle that.

Then there is freedom from having too many days at the end of the week's paycheck. Or weak paycheck in some cases. There is freedom from barely making ends meet. And freedom from struggling to get ahead. Eventually there is. This doesn't come overnight of course. There is freedom from the lack of weekly funds. It is not a lot at first but we peddle that.

Finally and ultimately there is the financial freedom that we all seek and that many here have already achieved. I am told if you give a man a fish you feed him for a day but if you teach him to fish you feed him for a lifetime. We offer a course in online fishing.

We peddle the ability to become financially independent.

I suppose there is one more thing. We offer answers. We offer freedom from not knowing what to do next when we get stuck. We offer a wealth and depth of knowledge that is continuously growing as we learn and grow. This is the freedom of not having to drive the whole distance ourselves, the Wealthy Affiliate community meets us more than half way. That is priceless. We peddle that.

So you see we are the virtual Freedom peddlers.
