Slowly Gaining Ground
Those of you here in the top 100 rank do not make it easy to move up. Lol
You all are doing a fantastic job!
Early on here at WA I received many comments and messages about how quickly I moved into the low number, higher ranks here. I think I was at 72 or something and wrote about it here https://my.wealthyaffiliate.co... (Ranked Confession) with encouragement to newbies to do the things that I had done to get there.
But as quickly as I gained ground here my websites
were not gaining ground quite as fast.
But now I am slowly gaining ground there. Trying to finish a lesson and a task or more every single day. I got indexed in Google and now I have to add pictures and more content. It is time to get ranked there. I am gaining ground.
Those of you in the top 25 (ambassadors) I am slowly gaining ground on you too.
But in tiny steps. 70 - 69 - 71 - then the 50s - now the 40s. You do not make it easy!
Of course it is fun to watch it move each day but I am having much more fun getting to know you all and helping the new comers to our platform. I realize it is not a race or contest. But it is fun for me just the same.
Newness here is still so fresh with me that I can remember the learning curve to figure out how to get around in here and how best to use the tools. But I have it now. I am progressing here and online daily. I am gaining ground.
If you are new; keep at it. It only is a matter of a short time and your website will get indexed and ranked. You will get traffic and eventually conversions (sales). I am as sure of it as I am the coffee I am about to go brew. If there is something you do not understand then we are here to help. And most here are glad to help.

I didn't find this to be rambling. In fact, I rather enjoyed it. I, too, have moved up quickly in the rankings.
I sometimes don't feel I should be here, then I go back and think of all the interaction and how I have actually been able to answer questions. (the more you do, the more you learn, the more you are able to help others.) So I take it as I can get it.
You deserve to be where you are. You have helped me some and I am higher in the ranks than you are...somehow. Enjoy it.

You know I'm not usually given to brevity, Carl, but I am tonight because it's late and I need to get to bed. Sounds like you and I are at about the same place in our certification training. I'm eager to learn to put images and affiliate links on my site and plowing my way there. Will be slowed down now in my writing for awhile because I'm needing to do the research for my next article. Hope to be ready to write at least some of it this week. Carol

Thanks Carl, I am enjoying the community here, but find that I can spend so much time interacting here at WA that I am not getting time to work on my websites. Frustrating as I enjoy the WA community, but that will not pay the bills.
