Not Interested in a Second Job
"I'm Not Interested in a Second Job." It's what someone recently told me (in text) when I told them about the opportunity to learn affiliate marketing here. He is very accomplished already and was reaching out to me to recruit or to promote or something; I'm not sure which. But I am pretty sure he completely misunderstood what Wealthy Affiliate has to offer.
Although those who do well in this business (as I read testimonies here) treat their online business just like a job, a job they control but it is work nonetheless. But as a quote I read recently says, "Find a job that you love and you will never have to work a day in your life!" I am sure that's an exaggeration since even recreation and relationships take some work but you get the point there.
Wealthy Affiliate of course is not a job (JOB = Just Over Broke); It's not a job but an opportunity to learn new valuable skills that can propel one into success online. It's an opportunity to learn new valuable skills that can even land someone a job offline.
I'm not interested in a second job either; in my current job I am working all of the overtime they'll give me because I am tired or living just over broke and when I'm not working the overtime, i'm busy learning and building here. I'm not interested in a second job either; BUT I am interested in realizing the success online that I know a proper education (Wealthy Affiliate) and diligence will bring.
I can't wait until I can keep $1000 emergency fund in reserve.
I can't wait until after that all of our household debt is paid.
I can't wait until after that we have 3 months living $$$ tucked away.
I can't wait until after that I have replaced my current income.
The plan is to do this through my OT,
my wife's MLM biz and EBay sales,
and my online work learned here at WA.
I can't wait until the day that working my current job is something
that I choose to do and not something that I have to do.
I can't wait until the day I can responsibly
choose to leave if I want to.
By the way, I like my job so I am in no rush to leave.
I'm not looking for a second job. What we have here is definitely not a second job. I'm glad I found WA and I am thankful for all of you. I'm thankful you for the many success stories here, the logical and thorough way Kyle and Jay explain everything, and the hope of multiple streams of income from all the hard work. Not only the teaching here but the tools; I'm thankful for it all.

If you're in a place that you have to work a second job to make ends meet then I completely understand and this post is not to minimize your struggle. For me all of my overtime is the 'highest paying second job" I can have.
Thankfully it allows me to take my 'free' time and work online.

I don't consider it a job, but I do work it as seriously as I would if it were. It is an opportunity to learn and if I can make money learning I'm all for it. I am working on an article now that will finish the foundation of what I want to do with my website.
It is also the article that will finally monetize my site. I am taking my time going through the lessons to be sure I know that information well before moving on to the next lesson. It is the best way to help others with their questions.
I still struggle with my health. I have chronic migraine and CVID (Common Variable Immunodeficiency) which requires me to get infusions of immunogammaglobulins every four weeks. It has always taken a lot out of me, but this month even more so because the increased the dosage by 65%!
Luckily, my "boss" is very understanding and does not fire me for not getting articles done in a very short period of time. What I do complete is really good if I do say so myself!
I have really been enjoying myself. These first two (almost two) months have flown by! I'm also quite proud of myself for finally getting out of my bed and doing something.
Funny, before I started, just getting dressed wore me out. Now I'm even back to doing some housework which my husband loves as it fell on him before.
I'm looking forward to the next two months!
Ive had the CVID most of my sdult life. Ive probably had it longer than my diagnosis. In fact, looking at my past medical history anand all the infections ive had, my hematologist believes i eas probably born with it.

Yes, I feel the very same way. I am doing the Affiliate Bootcamp because I recognize referrals are where the most earnings can be made. And because I am so passionate about WA, I want to spread the word.

I would not say that referrals are where the most earnings can be made, perhaps where the most immediate earnings can be made as you develop your niche. There are many here as I understand who only do affiliate marketing of other products and do not have many referrals. BUT having said that, I am certainly trying to take advantage of the opportunity to refer. So far without success, conveying the value of what we have here does not translate well to the mind of those we share with. Perhaps because they a jaded by frequent offers or they've been scammed by other companies that do not consider integrity paramount.
