A Picture Worth A Thousand Words

They say that a picture is worth 1000 words and I do not know if this is true as far as the google bots go and our website rankings with google but to me this picture here (drawn by Frank at WA as '1signbanner' when we 1st met here) says a lot about 1st impressions. It also says a lot to me about this online adventure that we are on.

We have become a part of the online culture if we are at all serious about doing this affiliate marketing business. And since it costs us to be here --- or pays us to be here if your referrals are where they can and should be -- but since it costs us to be here as Premium members, I suspect you all are serious about this online business.

The online culture is strange. It is illusive. It is huge. In order to really make lasting friendships here online (in any platform) it takes time. It takes repeated shared communications. Most online communication is one sided. Or so not real time that it is hard to really get to know anyone. But if you work at it you can. Now I realize we're not here to make friends. And I know that some people could even care less about making friends. (that means they don't care about it if the phrase 'could even care less' confused you.) I know some people don't want to make friends. But I am glad for the friendly culture here at Wealthy Affiliate.

I am glad for Frank. AKA 1signbanner. Look him up he is a great guy. Here is a question he posted --- I think it was answered but this is Frank. https://my.wealthyaffiliate.co... Apparently he sees me as either clumsy or a hard worker. I get that from the bandage on my face in his caricature of me. He has me as much younger and way more super than I am in reality. That's just super! I like it. Lol

A picture is worth a thousand words I am told. But while you're busy typing a few words in chat. On replies and in comments. Words are escaping you. And words are escaping me. The one sure way we can all make money is by building content on our sites. Keyword rich content. So while we want to be friendly here it behooves us to be putting as many and more words down in Site Content or a content writer of choice. I use Site Content.

A picture is worth a thousand words? This picture gift from Frank to me is. But as far as worth to our business, as far as the google bots go, I am not sure. We need to be following Kyle's lead on this and write content. Content. Content. Content.

It has great worth in the online world.

Anyway -- I need to follow my advice and go write some myself.

Take care all. Best wishes for lasting online success!

Look me up. Comment here. PM me.
I would really like to be your online friend.

Kind regards,

Carl

Super!

Frank did a great job, the caricature looks very much like you and sums it up pretty well, Superman.

LOL LOL --- Well thank you. I think.

He is very talented and caricatures are supposed to be exaggerated works of the original subject. When I was a teenager my grandmother once bought me some Flash Gordon 'under-roos' - Lol - so maybe he is not far off.

Thanks Brad

You are right, most caricatures really exaggerate but he is made you look handsome there. But in saying that I wonder what you would have looked like if you weren't a WA member. LOL

Wow!
Amazing.
David

He does an amazing job.
And he's a 'super' guy too.

Thanks Carl !!!!!!!!

Always welcome friend. :)

I Wonder what my picture will look like :)

Well I never expected this. Lol
It would be interesting to find out.

You're last impression to me was watch out here I come. Great to see busting and bruising battle scars Carl!

Bandage = battle wounds. Smells like victory to me!
~Bob

Thanks neighbor. (you get that now)
Hoping for daily victory for you Bob.

Kind regards always -- Carl

Hey thanks, Carl.
~Bob (from one of the far Northeast kingdoms)

What a cracking picture he has drawn, thanks for sending me the link to this

Always welcome Matthew. Frank is a great guy. And just so you know -- I like you too. Thanks for all the shared communications. Best wishes for lasting online success my friend.

Carl

Thanks, Carl. This is so touching. I knew that pic was you before I read it. I love the leadership and friendship here in WA.
Thanks once again

The leadership is Top Notch. And the friendships are what we make them. However, there are many here who are friends and wanting to help so they make it easy to want to make much of the friendships here. Thank you for your comment and encouragement.

I really appreciate it! -- Carl

You are welcome, Carl.

Gifty

I love the picture and what a lovely compliment and present. Totally agree that content for our websites is key and I also love the interaction online with people in the community as I love the energy and positivity it brings. There has to be a balance though, I agree. Have a great day and thanks for posting. Gail

Thank you Gail for your comments and encouragement. I fully agree --- we need to strike a balance. Something I am learning. Thankfully I have a great FT job and I am not dependent on my online work. I have plans for that to change; a 5 year plan. But if that plan is going to come to fruition I definitely have to strike a balance. Take care friend. -- Carl

I will. Thanks Carl. You too. Five years is nothing in a lifetime if it gets you where you want to be ..... :)
