hart48, my first site is down. When it comes back online I'll move it to here. With readings, it's all done with guides. You don't actually need the cards, they are just a tool and often helpful for the person who is being read for. Yes, it is done by guides. Your guides talk with their guides (lol reminds me of LA - get your people to talk with my people)

No, they are not the same. A squeeze page only allows the visitor to do one of two things - subscribe or leave. That's it. That's the true definition of a squeeze page. Now, having an opt-in form, you CAN include ONLY that on a page, and then its is then part of the squeeze page. Usually, this isn't the case though. You normally find the opt-in form somewhere on a page where there are other links and navigation.
Yet another difference which is similar to a squeeze page is the pop-up. This is a box that comes up soon after a visitor has arrived on a page. This is NOT RECOMMENDED. Pop-ups tend to be very annoying to the visitor who has come to read the content and the pop-up interrupts the reading.
I have been thinking of having a side-bar thing saying "subscribe" or whatever term, and having a page dedicated to the opt-in form. I would have this page open in a new window. What happens when you have an opt-in form on your site, is that you are "telling" your visitors to leave your site. This is what happens when they fill in the form and hit the submit button. If you have them do this in a separate window, your site will still be up in the background.

The thing is about being a perfectionist is not only we don't want to share others our imperfect work but we are also afraid of criticism because we tend to have this belief anything we had done is perfect.
When something of ours are criticized, it violates our belief that what we do is perfect.
Oh well...maybe my description is not of a perfectionist but of myself personally.
I am quite thin skinned.
I see you have an opt in box at the bottom. If you are really trying to get names for a list you should have it towards the top right in a widget. Your site looks damn good! I really like it.

Get the link with your ID as TEXT only. Read through the link and look for the Amazon Description. You will look for the one in (xxxxxxxxxxx). just highlight the description and type in, for example, "You find it here" or something that fits with your content. Then copy the link, go to your site and finish your sentence with .........You find it here.
In visual view highlight the You find it here and click on the link button. The link window opens ,,,,,,now past the Amazon link in the URL field, hit UPDATE and you are done. Publish your page or blog or post, view it and you will see the link in red, Click on it and "voi la"

What I do is I copied and pasted the image first... then I copy the link from the top of my browser from Amazon and paste it to the change link http://d.pr/i/Oz0h and your set to go:)

Carla, After you log in to your Amazon Associates (Affiliate) account do a search for what you want to link. When you find it you will see the Get Link button on the extreme right. Click that.
When the screen appears it will be showing the Text and Image option, like the 4 I have on the blog page I sent to you. If you should want that, and in my opinion for a blog post you do, scroll down to just below the image and copy the HTML code.
Then go back to the WordPress editor of the blog post where you want to put this Text and Image link. Click on the "Text" tab in upper right corner of the text editor right next to the Visual tab. Find the area within the "Text" area of your blog where you want to place this link. Click on the area (if it is right next to some text you will want to press Enter or Return on your keyboard first) and then paste the HTML code.
NOTE: If you intend to put another Text and Image link right next to the one you just pasted, like I have in my blog post, you will want to press the space bar on your keyboard and then paste the HTML code for the other link right after the first one.
When you are done pasting the link or links, press Enter or Return on your keyboard and return to the "Visual" mode of the text editor. NOTE: You will see the link you just pasted as a yellow box without ant Text or Image, this is normal. You can only see the actual Text and Image link after you publish the page and then go to look at the actual blog post.
