Greetings, salutations and hello, even; thanx for dropping by, glad to meet you.

I'm a native-born American hailing from Maryland's Eastern Shore of the Chesapeake Bay, but my point of origin is the Great Black Swamp area of the Buckeye State. My first venture outside the great state of Ohio was for a four-year sojourn in a small trade school in Annapolis which suited me up for six years of "Join the Navy and See the World" cruises which spanned the three (3) largest oceans, the largest sea, the largest gulf and included two (2) tours in the lovely Gulf of Tonkin, although the ship I was on was hardly eligible for the local Yacht Club.

My career took me from the Great Black Swamp to the Chesapeake Bay and the Atlantic Ocean thru the Gulf of Mexico and the Panama Canal to the Pacific Ocean; visiting exotic (and not-so-much) ports which included Bath (ME), Norfolk (VA), Guantanamo (Cuba), Rio de Janeiro (BZ), Gaeta (IT), San Diego (CA), Treasure Island (near Alcatraz, although I was never an inmate there), Seattle (WA), Pearl Harbor (HI), Hong Kong, Subic Bay (PI), Singapore and the Seychelle Islands (somewhere off the coast of Kenya).

Since my detailer wanted to send me back to 'The Nam' for a third tour (been there, done that, twice already), I decided it would be best to seek my fortune elsewhere. I spent a few years in a shipyard on the gulf coast building ships for the Navy (probably hands-down the most fun J-O-B that I ever had) and then went to HQ in Crystal City for consulting work, which eventually brought me home to the Eastern Shore of the Chesapeake Bay.

My love of sailing (but don't call me a man of the cloth) goes all the way back to that sojourn in CrabTown and the stop in Singapore is responsible for solidifying my dart habit, where my mentor (for the sport) and I controlled the board at the Limey's O-Club, having only bought one round (of brewskis) to get on the board. After that, the challengers bought the beer and we maintained control (of the board, that is).

When the consulting jobs dried up (due to someone else winning the contract), I decided to start designing, building and installing kitchen and bath cabinets and doing the remodeling that goes along with that. When the local home improvement warehouses started carrying low-end cabinet lines (and some mid-level lines at prices I couldn't compete with), my business took a nose dive. And when the ecnomy started to do the same thing, it became "too wet to plow." My remodeling business was finished and I had dug a pretty deep hole.

During the latter stages of this "career" I had been exposed to several multi-level marketing companies, and quickly learned that the guys who got in early were making all the money! Imagine that!

When the internet became a popular spot for network marketing to adapt, I started to once again check out the options, although I was more cautious now and made fewer 'committments to excellence" - or is that "ineptness"? I ultimately found Wealthy Affiliate, and lo-and-behold, they allowed me to get started for FREE!

And the rest is history, so to speak.

The support network here is the best I've ever seen. The training videos and tutorials run the gamut from basicly boring to extremely excellent. The tools provided are top-notch and second to none. What more could you possibly need, except perhaps an invitation to play along!

Leave some feedback if you got the time.

Finally got it - nobody told me this was an HTML blog, I assumed it was WYSIWYG

If you click on the blue wheel just above the blog you can edit it and then republish.. Some spacing would make it easier to read - but it was very interestling.

Been there, done that, doesn't work!

Keeps going back to what you see, even tried from two different 'putors!

Thanx for playing!

Great experiences in your life. A suggest. Your article is entertaining to read but you should break it out into smaller paragraphs. I had to reread it twice because it was so long to digest in one reading. Thank you for sharing. I wish you the best and much success with your online business. Debbie

Thanx for the constructive criticism - however, it appeared fine right up until I published and now I can't find a way to edit it. If you can shed light on this process, I'm all ears (except for the thumbs, of course!).
