Every time I try to pin from one of my blogs or from my website to Pinterest, I get a message saying that it has been rejected because it may be considered spam. How do I get p

I had the same issue. I got round mine like this. I found out what Ppinterest was for, mainly ladies and fashion and posted vintage womens clothing images, plus other social media images, not from WA to my boards and it worked nicely

For some reason, everything WA is blocked there

Thanks, Dave :)

good question

Have no problem pinning my blogs.

Tried and True

Elaine

How do you do it? What's your process?

There really isn't a way around it. Pinterest is selling ads now, and anything that looks remotely promotional is being rejected in hopes you'll pay for advertising instead.

How can I get my website to show on my Google+ account? I've been told to use the "pen on [my] profile", but that appears to be only for adding something I write, like a Google

I see lots of responses did you get it?

see if this helps

You need to go to your Google+ profile page, then instead of clicking the big "Edit Profile" button, hit the link to the left of it that says "About". Then on that page you'll see the box to add your website :)

I get where that is. I went there and still can't get my website to show up on my Google+ page. There is nothing showing me to add my website to my page as a post or a collection. What am I missing? I see other people get their website to show on their pages, so I know it's possible and desirable.

Hmm I'm sorry I'm not actually too sure then - when I click "About" on my Google+ profile it shows it box which says "Sites" and then I can add my link there.

I see you mentioned page, I don't have one of those - I just use my profile so it's possibly a bit different. This link might help you though: https://en.support.wordpress.com/connect-a-google-page-to-your-blog/

Thanks, Dale. Once again you came through for me :) I have it linked now. I guess I was expecting to actually be able to post my posts from my website to a post on my Google+ profile page.

Do I have to transfer my website to WP (and pay extra!) in order to get it verified in Google?? Every link I followed ended up in that being the result needed. I'm reluctant to do that at this time.

Nooo you certainly don’t need to move it to WP... likely just those pesky affiliates tryna make a commission from you ;) haha!

I think there’s actually a plug-in you can install to verify your site with Google - if you run a search for it from your plugins page it might show up :)

I’m on my mobile at the moment otherwise I’d have tried to link you directly to it :)

Wonderful new! I am so relieved. :)

I'll check out the plug ins. Thanks again!

good post

I've checked and my domain is live. My website shows up in a Google search (#4). I don't know what to do....???

candiGirl71, I hope you are having a great day so far. When your on Google Analytics page you need to confirm / validate that your information is being enter in the correct tabs... I did this the first time I set my Page up. Assuming everything was enter in the correct tabs / areas, you will need to look at your URL and make use you did not select Https: by mistake. Lastly if you are still having issues, I would login to the Webpage management console located the public URL then copy and paste into "GA" to see if that resolves your issue.

Thank you for your help. I will try that.

Have a great day.
