Tesla powered Zamboni

Hello everyone and welcome to the Zam man blog, Joe here is your Zamboni blog. This is my Tesla-powered unsponsored Zam, Happy Sponsor happy boss. The garden hose is in the front of the tank for we are refilling it here with water, I have two electric heaters in the tank to heat up the water and this tank gained a leak on me after a week of service, that is after opening day. So, it went out of service, and thankfully this year I have two of these to use.

Had to call in a local welder that could weld Stainless steel for that is what the tank is made out of and have the cracks welded thus sealing the tank and making her worthy of being put back into service again. But we needed to get the wrap back on her before we could use her on the ice with the sponsor's logo on it, Safeway grocery stores here is a big sponsor of this ice rink.

There is our bad boy Tesla powered Mini zam with her wrap on her, this was before the tree was put in and my carpet was new. My tools all over here helping me achieve my goals for the day. She has five wheels on her but basically rolls like a three-wheeler giving her amazing tight turning ability. She has a hook on the top so we can use a strap and forklift her into the back of a trailer and ship to different locations and since she does not weigh in at 3 tons, we can use her on much lighter foundations and thinner ice. Doug, started making these out of necessity back in 1971 he told me for the smaller Disney on ice shows, they can travel with the show, that is they fit in the back of the semi-trailer so easily transported and you do not need a cement floor foundation to support it.

This is the inside of my Zam condo on the top floor of Union Square, a 15 by 15 foot tent with walls. And my second zam fits in the corner with ease. I got my tool boxes, mobile kitchen, and the tables for my mobile office in place. Still got the lights to finish hanging, no carpet for it is too much work cleaning it. I can simply sweep the plywood floor.

A couple of mornings ago I was hungry and my little fridge was down to a few eggs, so I floated a pan inside of this zam and since the water is hot and getting hotter I used that to boil me up some eggs while not messing up the water in the Zamboni for the ice rink. I need to have perfect water for the ice! So, while I was cutting the ice with one Zam, the other one was cooking my eggs for me. Air fried some toast and a beautiful breakfast was fast and simple.

Here is a pretty good look at the top floor of my Zam condo with my night shift Zam inside while my day shift zam is front and center. I got my kitchen, slash workbench in action and thankfully I am not cooking at this point. Fast food, microwave leftovers. I have my woke, air fryer, Home depot water jug, buckets for washing dishes. Heck, that gives me the idea of creating a mobile life how to right there, anyway back to the zam stuff. And, I recycle my wash rags, those are drying up on the top of the Zam condo.

I have power routed all over in here, via 50-foot extension cords tied up to keep them off the floor, I have enough electrical power to supply power to my melt tanks, the heaters in both zams, my mobile kitchen, and mobile office.

This is the mobile kitchen and office area of my Top floor zam Condo in Union Square, still not complete yet but very functional. Peanut butter, microwave, heaters, rolling butcher cart, country in the middle of the city.

I must admit, I am blessed for I have two company vehicles! How many people ever get that from who they work for? And, both are convertibles! I mean wow. Now, the downfall is I can only use them while at work, so I still must get myself to work, but with two convertibles waiting for you to play with, who would not want to come to work early?

Ask me why I have a cross on the deck?

This is for Joe again, but also for the other morning folks, I chat within live chat, Mel, Shannon, Dale, Scottie, and those curious about my Zam adventures like Jeffery, Batman has been out for a bit, gosh, Tim I believe is your name, you pop in and help. I really like our live chat crew here, and our morning Managers are Shannon and Joe, some other members on live chat gave them that honor. Shannon was feeding a kid, came back and blam, chat manager. Lol.

The next blog I think will be for Shannon and my Zam eggs adventure. If anyone wants to see that one, leave a note, request, or Huu?
