Looks like it must have been a great night.
Unfortunately the only note I can hold, is a note book.lol.
Stephen

Hey, at least its a note. Hahaa. I love guitars, like a sexy to me!

I bet that you had a whole bunch of fun jamming away with those fantastic looking beasts Scott!!

Maybe the neighbours there were not best pleased though...

But we all need to have a bit of fun when we can get it my friend!!

After all... life is toooo short not to enjoy ourselves!!

Hey, Nick

My high school band used to practice at my house outside on the patio. One of our neighbors called the police so frequently that my mother got to know them by name and fed them lunch when they came.

She would tell them "I'd rather know where my children are, so I'm glad my son wants to practice here." I wasn't a problem teenager and we really didn't play that loud, but it's amusing to look back on.

If I had the equipment that I have now, the whole state of Rhode Island could have heard me. ๐Ÿ˜Š

I wish my mom was still with us, but I wish her a Happy Mother's Day, wherever she is. She led a long and happy life.

Frank ๐ŸŽธ

I did not blast the gear, But ya it was fun for sure.

I'll bet that was fun! Do you sing as well? Thanks for sharing, Scott.

Susan

I am growing into singing, it does make the song more complete.

That's great to hear! Music is such a wonderful expression of oneself.

Hey, Scott

Nice guitars!

Epiphone makes a great Les Paul! Were you playing that or the three bass guitars?

Keep going & play as much music as you possibly can! ๐Ÿ˜Š

Check out my guitar site if you get a minute (on my profile page) and let me know what you think.

Frank ๐ŸŽธ

I had to play the Gibson SG bass guitar, I messed around with all three of the bass guitars last night. However the bass amp needs the pots and such cleaned and adjusted, that thing a pain! I played the Epiphone for a few hours last night, mostly blues stuff. I brought my Ibanez Tone master 100R amp from the 1980s for her, oh what a fun amp. But my Fender twin reverb is still my fav.

You site is awesome, my favorite fender guitar is all of them. Haha, I am in love with my Jazz master, oh the country twang and surfer sounds are sweet. Felt like I was cheating on my woman when I got the Les Paul. So my 5 guitar rack has SG, Les Paul, Jazz master, Teli and strat!

Love the sound of the Gibson SG basses. Jack Bruce used a Gibson EB-3 in Cream.

The Epiphone LPs really sing.

Are you talking about the Ibanez Tone Blaster??

The twin reverbs have such pure sound with an excellent bottom end. My favorite Fender amp is probably my Quad Reverb, which can move as much air as a Marshall half-stack!

Thanks, Scott! My site is finally starting to get some decent traffic after a year and 90 articles.

I love the Jazz Masters, too. The pickups are super versatile.

You have the best combo of guitars for rock and blues, totally awesome guitar rack! I couldn't have picked them better myself. ๐Ÿ‘ ๐Ÿ‘

It is an amp built around the pedal if I remember correctly back in the day. She sounds pure, and ya the fenders can really chug out some fat sounds. My first amp was an Heithkit, modeled after the Fender. Had to lug that around in my little sisters little red wagon.

I remember Heathkit. I bought all types of electronic test equipment that had to be assembled when I was in high school.

I still have my Heathkit vacuum tube checker, which I still use to check the tubes in my amps. I also have a Heathkit dual-trace oscilloscope that I still use to bias my tube amps.

Man, I have not used an oscilloscope since high school. If you wrote and article on how to do that I am gonna glean for sure. I have my grandpas old fender amp, little 18 watt 1955 unit. It came with three in one transformer, granps, an engineer but in three for I guess somewhere in the past the first one said kapow. Now one of those caught fire, and smokes the tubes. I have been sitting on that unit since 1986, scared to leave it at a shop to have them repair it. Soon as I bring it in the techs go nuts. So, one day I would love to rebuild that little guy, maybe trade it for a Mesa boogie.

That's fantastic, Scott! I have no one to play with, but then, I'm not very good anyway!

Good on you!

Another bass player, Very Cool!

Just put on your favorite albums and jam along, Jeff! It's how I learned to play way back in middle school - stealing everyone else's stuff. ๐Ÿ˜Š

Frank

That is how I learned how to play back in the day, tap into the speaker on the radio and patch that into one amp, plug my guitar into the other and follow along.

That looks like a lot of fun right there.

Truthfully, it is, Scott!

I know a few riffs, Frank! Deep Purple's "Smoke on the Water" is a fave.

Jeff๐Ÿคช

There you go. There were no YouTube instructional videos or digital equipment but it was a lot of fun! ๐Ÿ˜Š

Deep Purple Rocks, Jeff!
Crack out that guitar and have some fun this weekend!! ๐Ÿ˜Š

They sure do, Frank, and I might do just that, my friend!

Jeff๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ‘

That was all of our first songs learned back in the day, and funny thing is it is not played on a guitar! Oh I was shocked when I learned that.

Wow, I am shocked to learn that too, Scott! ๐Ÿ˜ณ
