Mobile Sound Studio Update.

Howdy ya all, the sound panels came in, Amazon prime is still a bit on the slow, two weeks, not the two days as promised. Still got to get another pack of the panels, fill in some other areas. This stuf comes to me as I work through it, and new ideas pop up in my mind also. Some I bring into reality, some not.

Well, here are some pics to share of the process of hanging the panels.

Here I am unpacking the panels, the small pack on the left is how they arrive, they really can compress these things. I let them sit for two days to let them come back to their natural size. And that made it Saturday so perfect for me.

First two panels up, beer thirty. I did this Friday night. Like a kid on Christmas Eve. I had to remove some stuff on the ceiling to do the install.

Getting to get the idea of how the room will flow now, I am liking very much.

Ahhh, getting better all the time. Beer break time. Again.

Really like that lighting at my desk, God Bless LEDs. Now to get that subwoofer off the floor.

There we go, getting better all the time, one more mini par can over the sound board aught to do it. Got my creative closet all sweet and set up now. Cat 5 is ran, got the cables for the DAW going across, XLR over to the studio monitors and sub, room shakes my clothes if I want it too.

Now to wire in the camera, and get the podcast booth set up next. I am still editing the recording from Church last Sunday. Now this is not only cool, it is fun.

So that was what I created Saturday, then the next day I am doing my thing at church.

Gotta love Technology, doing sound remotely via my I-Pad, recording into Ableton live Via MacBook Pro and recording video, that is not in this picture. Sent an Aux out to my camera, I should also be able to sinc it later during editing. Now to dig on on an members lessons here on Open Broadcast software. Always learning,

If your not learning, your dieing.

Now stop looking at this post and go dig into your classes here and learn about your business and how to make it a succes. That is what I do all week, weekend I play. Well, work and play so most of my work seems like play. Starting to happen again here with WA also. I just had to get past that learning curve, kind of like when the digital sound boards first started becoming popular, had to did in and learn them. Doing what you see there back in the anolog days would require a semi truck parked in the parking lot with about 20thousand miles of cable running in and out of it.

Okay, not that bad but sure was not as easy as haveing a sound board, cat 5, few other fun toys. Get off the couch and learn, what they teach us in High school is how to be employed, here we are taught how to create our own business thus creating our way and path in life, now get after it and make your path,

And thanks for checking out my crazy love to take photos of everything blog here at WA and my little 32 year old mobil sound studio on wheels. Looks like a homeless camp on the outside, crip on the inside.

I am bless with the abilities I have gleaned over the years. Hope ya all enjoy the pics and my blog.

Laters Gators.

Super David Scott, the Zam man.

Wow it looks awesome!

-Mike

Thank you, has been a fun build.

What am impressive job you are doing. You passion is obvious.

First time I have built something for myself, usually I am renting a house and modify that. Feels good to create.

Wow, Scott, so impressive. You can set up my sound studio any time. Loved the purple too.

The purple works with the black light very well.

Very Prince.

Prince was an awesome musician, every now and then again I watch Weekend at Bernie's just to see his two very hot backing vocalist girls, well that and the movies is just funny and has me in tears sometimes. Gosh, those girls were hot though. Not only looked good but also sounded good.

I've never seen it but will check it out on your recommendation, Scott.

American movie from the 80s, I do not invest much time watching movies anymore. To much to learn so now I see it as waste of time. However, still good to sit with on special and just do nothing but share such time. My all-time favorite is Lonesome Dove. So many great human experiences in that movie and how to be an honest, real person. Captian keeps his word, takes him a year to do it.

Hey, Scott

OMG, I was just asking you about a mobile studio update on another post! 🥴

Really digging the gray and pink(ish) sound panels! GREAT job! Only the high-quality panels have that much air in them, so you can bet they'll work great!

Wicked church setup! I've used Ableton live, it really rocks, especially the effect plugins. I had to get away from a lot of that. Was spending more time tweaking knobs and sliders than strumming the guitar!

Love the GTO, what year is it?

Keep working on your awesome studio and playing guitar! 👍👍
Frank 🎸

That the 1970 GTO Judge. Had 2 goats back in the day.

NICE Ride, Scott! 👍 😊

Awesome, Zam man! I love it when things are incgnito like that! Ragged on the outside and posh on the inside!

Jeff

I’ll work on the outside later. Functionality first. Lol.

Yes, indeed! Well done, Scott!
