Anytime you feel overwhelmed, there is a good chance the culprit is a lack of clear priorities.

Good afternoon everyone, blog number 4 is here and here I be making adjustments, I prefer to do this before the sun comes up or somewhere around that time frame. Today things changed, however, keeping my word to myself I am here to blog, Long a short word that means, we are going to write about something today! And, this morning I got my photos all worked out so I did not have to dig down that Alice in Wonderland Rabbit hole of goodies.

So, the other day I was practicing with my photos on my phone, today I am using my laptop to create this post, and going back to my previous post, the blog I was showcasing some of my work. And that was my friend's house where I helped remodel and rebuild the kitchen, bathroom, and also some texture, patching, and such around the new windows in the bedrooms. This here is a photo of the more or less, before stuff of the Arches. I have installed the tile on the floor of the kitchen at this point, used to be a wall heater where the framing is wide open on the far right of the photo. And, at this point, I only got two arches framed in. No drywall, lights, or anything.

Now at this point, I have all 3 arches in, little ol chunk of drywall installed where the old gas wall heater used to be. Ya, I dislike them as well. And, of course, my world-famous way overbuilt bar over there. His wife said you know the bar is going over there right? I was like, Huh?? So with what was lying around, there is your new bar!

You Like? She loved it!!

Now she is starting to look like something, I have the drywall done, homie installed the cabinets, super cool LED lights under the upper cabinets. I have been mudding the wall, at this point I think I am on coat 3, took me 5 to get it to where I liked it. After that, then I textured all the walls.

Here is mama and her brothers, friends showing off what is done so far, you can see in this pic we be at one coat of mud around them arches. Those are a pain in the donkey to mud,. However, they sure looked wonderful when I got done. Lots of mudding and sanding.

In this pic, my part is done, granite is installed on the bar, on the kitchen, Walls painted, lights most of the way installed, you can see my two little hockey puck lights dangling from the arch over the bar. The wood floor is darn near complete here and my bar I build for the misses can hold a big block Chevy engine if needed. Pretty sure your drinks and dip are safe.

There you go Joe, when I come by in a year to make breakfast, I can build you a bar at the same time, and now you can see what your cat is going to take over avoiding the new puppy.

The point of the blog and why I am doing this is to learn, my end goal, aim goal is to learn a new skill set. I can chat all day long, so I take that skill and move it to my fingers here and blog.

I take photos of everything, or so I am told. When I go to look at what I have, I learn I need to improve my photo-taking skills, for what I want is not always there. I learn, I glean and I search out others better than me, learn from therm.

When I take that photography course, I will learn so much more. However, I can see now what I want to improve on for my aim goal, my end goal.

And, simply blogging showed me that.

Learn, create, become for that is the better you.

I got to play with some mud, old clay, and some dead trees stuff, and look what gift I turned that into. Share your gift!!

Scott.

What an amazing transformation, Scott?
Wow, you've found your calling!

Hello Simone, Yes I am pretty darn good at fixing up houses, but I want to move on to better things. And create better income. Or turn this into my own version of Tiny Houses. Lol. It does feel good to see the smiles and such, and how much different the room feels after the improvements are complete.

Today's post will show the before and during pics of the bathroom remodel at the same house.

Ok
Looking forward to that
You do know that you can start a YouTube channel and show all of this and earn money as well?

That has been on the back burning of my mind. My aim here now is to get comfortable or let me put it another way, making this not so darn difficult. I am learning to always align the photo or it just seems to go where ever, Took me a couple of posts to learn that one.

By the time I get back from the ice rink gig, I will be able to book better-paying work using my online business card, website. And I already have the name picked out for that business.

Still trying ot figure what to do with my KessAudio website. I am not really interested in doing live work anymore. That 5 am to 1 am stuff I am just not willing to do anymore. I am in the process of creating my business around my life. All my life so far up to this point has been my life revolves around work. I love to work, but I have not had a vacation since 1994. Just time off between gigs where I am working on my house, truck, or on music.

Anyway, great thought, and it is on my mind for sure. It is good for a man to have a woman's point of view on things also, so thank you soooo much!! :)

My new blog I just posted if you want to see the bathroom remodel in progress.

Scott

It is nice that you love my point of view :)

Very nice work, indeed, Scott! I take a lot of pictures too! That remodel work was awesome, my friend!
