I hope things are going well. I know you are getting rolling within the training and there is ONE thing that always tends to confuse people and that is "what is my niche?".

I know, same thing happened to me when I started.

I just wanted to reach out and let you know that I am here if you ever want to run any niche "ideas" by me or you have any questions about finding your niche.

Get back to me when you get the chance! :)

I was considering making my niche focused on skin care but I'm not sure if that is too broad of an idea?

When deciding on a niche and trying to narrow down to a more specific niche, I recommend you ask yourself the following question:

I want to help people that ______________.

Fill in the blank and you are going to be much closer to a specific audience. After you do this and if you want to run any further ideas by me, let me know and I will give you a hand. :)

In my everyday life talking about skin care I always promote the basics of taking care of your skin so I was thinking each post of mine could be relating to a different topic covering the basics. Do you think that narrows it more or could it use a little more tweaking?

I recommend that you narrow this down slightly, what aspect of "skin care" do you want to help people out with? I would recommend trying out the Alphabet Soup Technique.

Here is a short training video on this: I use this not just for keywords, but also to narrow down my niches into something more specific. Remember also, there are TWO BILLION people on the Internet. Even some of the seemingly smallest niches out there have huge audiences that are searching for help with them and buying products within them.

Also, I recently blogged about what is too broad of a niche and how to define what is a suitable niche (with some real examples). I absolutely recommend that you check this out as it is going to definitely help you here Caleigh. If you want to run any of your "narrowed down" niches by me, please do let me know and I will be more than happy to give you a hand Caleigh. :)

After watching the Alphabet Soup Technique and reading the Niche article I think I understand better of how to narrow my idea down. I'm considering skin care for acne and if that is specific enough would each post of mine be related to different products targeting acne problems?

Sure either of these directions could work. Choose the direction that interests you the most. ;)
