How do I go about getting an EP Auth Code to be able to transfer my website?
Do you want to transfer your domain name or migrate your website? Transfer a Domain Name, Move a Website
You need to get the auth code from where you have your current website hosted.
Once you have your code, then go to site domains here under websites at the top, click the transfer domain to WA.
Enter your domain name and the code in the box as asked

The web site is asking to update the website but when I try it is down loaded to my computer and still receiving the request for update. Second, In the SEO lesson you were to

You need to mark the "box" for the things you need to update.
If you have done that I don't know what the problem might be, to new at this :)
Let me try this again. I am working on the Get started lessons. I am on course1 lesson 5 setting up your website. The lesson stated if there were updates to press the button and it would up date the program. The program I chose was the Omega. The Omega needs to be update to next level. When I tried to update the program no changes happened. I still have a red circle with 1 indicating that the program needs to be updated. I tried to do a screen shot but, honestly I don't know how with this program. I apologize. I hope this explains the problem more clearly.
