New Year and the way forward

Happy New Year!

It is a bit late, but I have my reasons. Like I updated my mac mini and it took weeks to finish the update (it is a 2012 model so its in the realm of very old system).

Other reasons why I am typing now is I wasn't at my home office. From last years going out and meeting people (holiday season), I realized that one needs concentration and second doing work with regard to content creation on smartphones is just not ideal. So I will only write content in the home office. Exceptions will be when I am with clients for their websites and not my own.

I have also been busy with Facebook messenger bots and corresponding messenger ads. It is a new thing for me so its taking a bit longer than I would have thought it would. But it does look promising. I will see if this is something worth it once ads have been running for a couple of months. I may also implement this for myself to get more data and experience.

So moving on forward... well everything is just a continuation of last year. It is all about persistence and committing to it.

I do have advice for those that think you don't need money for business. The advice is simple really "get a job if you don't already have one" at least have cash flow that settles your bills. Having a roof, internet connection, and a full stomach can help to stabilize your mental state and you can work on it slowly.

Having your finance in trouble and doing business can lead to very bad decisions and it might even lead you to quit. Affiliate marketing can take several months to make money and years to have full time income to fire your job. There are exceptions that can do it in 1 month or less, but don't count yourself one of them (that's wishful thinking unless you have the money in your bank account to prove otherwise). Expect at the least of 8 months but can take years. So have income or earn cash in other ways while you work on it (I would say for any type of business as well).

But here is the thing being in WA, means you have a shortcut. Do it and depending on your efforts it can be faster or slower.
