I see that WA has given me a certificate for having a page ranked on Google. I have no idea what page WA is referring to. Is there a way to find that page so I can review it
The notification is to let you know a post or page has been indexed, which basically means Google, has crawled your content and indexed it.
If you are just starting out, a quick way to determine indexed content;
site:yourdomainname.com
If your extension is .net replace the .com with that.
This will bring up all indexed content associated with your website URL.

Thanks. I have already used the site: for indexing. I already found where many of my pages have been indexed. I guess I have misinterpreted the G mark from WA. While it refers to a website being ranked, I will accept that it really only means indexed.

I see where I can set my website to use a static home page. If I understand this, that means that I can set a separate meta title, description and keywords for each individual
each post will be indexed individally as you publish them and google visits with its own meta data - set in all in one section at the bottom of the post editor on your site .
so if you create your content in sitecontent then it is worth going to your site and filling in the meta data for each article.
is it better to have a static or blog roll- well to me at the beginning a static as you may only have a couple of posts on there.
with a static page you can inform visitors of what the site is about and offer them somethng to sign up to keep in touch and direct them to various parts of your site- so it has benefits - the blog roll keeps the home page fresh and content easy to reach
each have their own benefits and to create content quickly at the start to get at least 10 blogs on there is one major part of this business model.
so it really is down to you Burton - what is your site going to look like - what do you want visitors going to your home page to see and do.

I insert images from the Media Library. Can I delete an image from the Library after it has been insert into a post and the post has been published without losing the image in
Hey Burton,
If you wish to delete an image from your Media Library then DO make sure that you are NOT using that image ANYWHERE on your website.
If you delete an image that IS linked to a page or post, you will cause a broken graphic to be displayed on that page or post where the image USED to be.
Image in your Media Library that are added to your posts/pages must remain in your Media Library.
I always recommend that you ONLY ever upload the EXACT sized images that you want to use. This will prevent your website being burdened with several images of the same thing, and all of them being forced to remain.
