I would like to enter my message in the "Lorem ipsum..." section on my website - how do I do it?
someone else asked a similar question and Judebanks gave them a link to a forum that may be able to help.

I would like to enter a message on main page of website?
I would like to enter my message in the "Lorem ipsum..." section on my website - how do I do it?
Since your question is not specific enough, I will try to answer everything it may be..
1. Site Title
Login to your website > Click Dashboard > Click Customize Your Site > Click Branding > Edit Site Title > Click Save
2. Tag Line (below site title)
Login to your website > Click Dashboard > Click Customize Your Site > Click Branding > Edit Tag Line > Click Save
Sentences 'lorem ipsum...' below the headlines / title may only come from 2 sources, page or post. To check which one it is:
Login to your website > Click Dashboard > Click Customize Your Site > Static Front Page (there will be latest post or static page)
If the blue color round button is turn on for latest post, you just need to create a new post and it will change automatically.
if the blue color round button is change to static page, you can pick a certain page or post to decide which one to show in front page.

Oh I just remember, if you are not using original wordpress theme. For example you are using DMS2 theme by PageLines, this is another different case. You have to edit everything from the front page itself using a different editor specialised only for DMS theme which is very complicated for newbie

Hi there,
are you going through the training here? You'll be walked through it in the Starter Course as well as in the Bootcamp.
Here's the link to it in case you don't want to wait. :)
