Can free members see other's blog posts and training?

What about Kyle's stuff, what all can they see of his posts and training, let's say, if a free member went to his p

As Loes said. I'll add this:

Free members can use the WA search bar to find answers and training videos and tutorials. They can scroll to read the chat. This means they can:

-- access hundreds, probably 1000+ tutorials prepared by members, unless the member marked the training as Premium.

-- access the Activity Dashboard and the list in the right column

-- build to 2 Siterubix subdomain sites. Fewer choices in themes, but they can get indexed and build traffic and promote their niche or WA. When they upgrade, they will be able to move their site to their own domain.

-- earn commissions

-- buy their own domains at WA SiteDomains. However, premium membership is required for WA hosting with an owned domain.

-- click on anything. They may get a message that it is Premium content. They won't break anything.

The left column has a padlock no access image. In other areas on WA, such as the Site Manager, certain items state Premium Upgrade required ~Jude

Free members can see and do:

The first 10 lessons of the Bootcamp and the certification course.
The membership lessons set to public.
They can't interact on the forum but they can read all blogs.
They can not use the live chat.
They can change their profile page, but can not give comments, just likes.
They can have 2 free websites, but can not add plugins
They can not reach out to website support
They can follow people and people can follow them.
They can not write WA blogs

In short, they have a limited just read access.

That is a very good question Heather. I have often wondered, but never asked. I look forward to reading members' replies.

I was wondering the same thing as I also did not remain free for long. If you're like me, you want to write about the difference between the two packages...

I use the big free/upgraded comparative banner in the banners section of the Affiliate Bootcamp to work out what free members get.

The banner doesn't compare everything, such as free/upgraded chat and forum access, but it's a good place to start.

Yeah I've definitely been using that from the beginning but I really want to start referring others by using the affiliate links on each blog/question/tutorial so others can see the type of value that all the members of WA provide.

I don't have enough time to write a bunch of tutorials for WA to refer others here, between my 2 websites, and promoting my social media and all that, I don't get a lot of spare time for that. I made a few, but they don't get too much action other than the one I did for niches, since that is something that most people don't understand when they come into affiliate marketing.

Thanks so much for your comment though, maybe someone will come through and be able to tell us EXACTLY the difference, it'd be nice to know lol

I am in the process of trying to fix my theme to my liking, and I can not for the life of me, change how the sub menu looks. It shows as solid white (white background and text

Hi Heather, It looked good to me but if you are looking to change to a drop down menu Marion Black has done some training on it and like all Marion's training it is easy to follow. Here is the link

Heather, be sure you're not spending a lot time on messing around with your theme for the reasons I discussed here:

I just want my site to be able to be optimized for my visitors. If it doesn't look good or is difficult to navigate, I'm not going to have many visitors..

It's fine to tweak your look and design. But it's your content that is going to get you visits not theme tweaks.

If you want a theme that's infinitely customizable then try Weaver Xtreme. It looks ugly until you make it your own then it can be as beautiful as you want.

Thanks Marion!

You should be able to do everything in your Dashboard .
Go to customize and it will walk you through .

This isn't accessible from Customize. I've never seen a theme where you could customize a sub menu background color on Customizer, that's usually more of a coding thing.

Hi Heather,
Here's a screenshot of it when I went to your site. Hope this helps.
Gina

Thank you! That's what it looks like in my previewer-- but when I visit it, it still shows the white. I've been trying to find a theme that is workable for how I want my site to look and the flow I want it to have, but it's been proving difficult.

I read this article:

https://my.wealthyaffiliate.co

This will explain the training credits

Based on the guidelines as I've seen them set forth, your trainings don't seem far fetched. Have you PMed Kyle to ask?

Hope things get worked out!
-Kit

Thanks, Kit!! I just sent him a message, but since it's the weekend, I'm sure he will get to it later on. Hope we get it figured out cause I spent a good amount of time trying to perfect these. Hopefully it was just a glitch

Hopefully so.

Take care, and have a good weekend yourself!
:-)

He's pretty good about answering and on a timely basis even on the weekends.

Rene'

It's fine, he still hasn't responded, but I'm sure he's just busy.

I made a training a while ago that got past level 1 quickly, and then I got credited for it on my credit dashboard.

I wasn't sure how this worked, when we were going to

Enter that into the search bar at the top of this page and look at the drop down list...

I searched it a few different ways but some of these blogs didn't come up, only a few that weren't Kyle trainings came up when I searched. I got it figured out from Marion's blog though!

Marion always has the right answer to anything she deals with...

Thanks, y'all! Marion, I'm about to read your blog now, thank you so much!

Have you look in other side?

Any suggestion of the other side you are referring to?

Dear bubbletokki,

Good Day!
Congratulations on your educational skills and accomplishments.

You want the organization to see the picture from your side.
You are doing pretty serious work but you are not getting paid for nor receiving ranking credit for your work. Your ranking looks good but I gather, not in your opinion.

Have you written a private letter to Kyle, and asked him for what you get recognition, ranking points, and pay? You will find that referrals get you paid, and Jet 300 yields commissions ,and at Jet 300 (referrals) you receive an all expense paid trip to Las Vegas to rub shoulders with the CEO's and qualified WA community members. Keep a long range view and be refining your own website, learning all you can from the world's top affiliate training
program.
You may like to run your question by WA - Paul Goodwin and Jay of magistudios, two of the top ranked WA community teachers in the organization, and see what they say.

Best Wishes

DRL

Thanks, friend. My rank is fine in my opinion, I just started making training in the last several months, it's just 2 that aren't showing up as credited. I messaged him the other day and haven't received a response, so I guess if by the end of tomorrow he hasn't messaged me I'll send another.

Thank you for your help!

Dear bubbletokki,
Good Day!
With a herd approximately 900,00 strong, Kyle is very busy, but he will get back to you. Your memory jogger is a good idea.

DRL

Definitely, that's why I put off trying to contact him until now haha.

I swear even before I lowered the scrollbar Heather I thought Marion!. Great help is available here telepathically!!

I wrote a post about training credits a while ago

This is interesting Marion.
Two of my trainings have not received credit as expected:

- One training at Level 2 has not received credit at all.
- Another at Level 3 has not received additional credit.

Send a private message to Carson or Kyle if they're not approved within the next few days. I haven't had any training credits approved so far this month. But I haven't done any new training this month so perhaps there' nothing due to me.

Thanks for your comment Marion. I had thought of contacting Kyle but I hate to bother either him or Carson. However, I will take your advice and contact one of them if there's no approval on those within the next week.

You can put word training in the search box on top to find some answers to your question.

Thank you, but this didn't really answer my questions as far as how being credited works, when I'd be credited, etc. I tried another few quick searches and still couldn't find another blog about it.

Hey guys, I saw I had two comments on my site, one being a regular comment and the other that seems like it was from a bot or something? I'm not quite sure what it means. her

Maybe to make it attention,

A spammed pingback for sure. delete!

I have not previously had a comment like this

I thought it was weird to get one myself!

I often get these from non-existent domain names. I've now disabled pingbacks/trackbacks because they can get annoying lol.

I'll probably be doing the same!

It is called a pingback.

its idea goes like this:
Someone has seen your blog post and wants to comment about it, but also wants their own audience to see it and allow them to comment about it on their own blog.

So, they write a blog post to their own blog.

They then send a pingback to your blog to notify that they have written that post. That pingback show as a comment to your post on your blog.

You can then either accept or reject that comment.

Unfortunately many of the pingbacks are spam, as it is a good way to get a backlink from your site! If you get a lot of them and they look like spam, it's probably easiest to disable pingbacks altogether from you blog settings. Then of course you will also not be able to receive some real pingbacks.

I would probably keep the feature on unless the number of spammy pingbacks get annoying.

Thank you so much!! I'd heard of pingbacks before but never trackbacks. I figured they may have been related, but I never knew what pingbacks were or what they did haha. Is the info on the left side the site that is trying to do the pingback?

Pingback is an automatic mechanism and it displays only this strange little excerpt of the content. There is also a similar mechanism called trackback. It has to be done manually from the other person's blog and looks more like a regular comment on your blog.

You're welcome! Yeah, the link under "My Homepage" is where the pingback sender wants to send traffic to.
(The other comment I sent was just an addition to my first comment, but I didn't see yours before posting that.)

It's fine, ma'am, thank ya so much!!! I visited the site and it was obviously just a SPAMMY thing so I deleted the comment. I know I can always get a good answer from the WA community!

Happy to help! :) Yeah, it's a bit of work to check the sites but better that than let the spammers spread their links.

Good info thanks

You can switch off trackbacks and pingbacks in Settings > Discussion, they're a hangover from the early days of blogging.

Ah, early blogging... Hm. I had heard about pingbacks before but wasn't sure what they did or were. Thanks, Rich.

No probs. you're most welcome! :)
