Where Do They Go?

An observation I have on Wealthy Affiliate is that many active people come and go. When I started here, there were some very active people who were very active and made up the core of many of the conversations. In time many have gone. Some are still members others are not.

We have a great group who have taken their place, but how many will continue to stay? So many have made commitments and decisions to become a success. How long will they stay? Today, we all want instant success and are not willing to pay the price. How many Olympic Gold's have been won by someone just signing up and competing without ever training? None, as there is a price to be paid. Are you willing to pay your price.

There are some here who been here long before I came, and others who are truly committed to staying and becoming successful. Many of them have helped me along the way and I am truly grateful to them. WA is not a get rich, get quick over night opportunity. It is a training program that requires work and dedication.

If you are willing to learn, share, get advice and give it and have the patience to stay with it you will have success. Sometimes success isn't what we think. My expectations of success have changed since coming here but I have achieved some success and it keeps growing. No matter how I define it, the success came from the training and advice I received here at WA. To that I thank each and everyone of you!

Even though it may not appear to be working for you now, Please Do Not Give Up! Your success depends on it. Be willing to do today what others won't, so in time you can do what others won't be able to. My Blurt for the Day! Be Blessed and Have a Great Day!

Very good post Brian. Very observant on your part thanks for sharing.

Your welcome Larry

I should write a book on this stuff.
i have one in progress right now. 100 pages in.. much more to go.

This is a good reminder.I was never under the impression that I would make a lot of money here quickly,It,s going take a long time for me.I have learned that I must go at my own pace, even though others are much faster, the same people who work faster may not even have an ailment;I myself have a mental illness and bad depression to contend with.

And you keep working at it. You should be proud

Anyone who joins WA and thinks that they will be wealthy, successful an on easy street within a years time, please send them to me, I have some swamp land to sell them. lol

True success online is a long term position. Many successful online entrepreneurs took several years just to become 100% profitable. If you are not in this for the long haul you will not succeed, simple as that.

However though there are some members who have left for bigger and better things (or have just quit), and there are many WA members, though you may not see them within the top 200, that are still members.

For the longest time I had a WA Rank of 3, right after Carson. But then I started focusing more attention on building my web presence in a new direction and dropped to rank 25. It has only been within the past few month of successful endeavors that I have had the time to spend within the community and move back up again.

You are always one of my favorites with you great tips and information. I just get amazed at those who come on here with a ball of fire and fizzle out before they actually find success. How close were they? None of us ever know!

This is why you must not just start with a ball of fire but you must also have a plan of longevity because success happens at different times with different people. The only constant is that success does not happen quickly.

I totally agree with you, Robert. :) Most successful people took at least a few years to several years before they find they become profitable. :) But is during the "no results, no sales" period, that we should not give up easily. Once we make up our mind to do it online, there should not be any back-door, but saying it is easier than doing it, lol. :)
Thanks so much, Brian for an interesting and insightful blog post!! :)

Always glad for your comments

Well said Jewel. :)

Sometimes as in my case something in their personal life takes preference to success, but when the crisis is over or more in control they may come back. I am still a small part still active in WA but had to put my site on hold as I cant produce good content with everything that is happening at home. I can assure you in Arnies words I WILL BE BACK.

I know first hand about struggles and conflicts. Sometimes we have to change tactics for a period for some reasons. I just hope to try and get some to just hang on and keep trying!

To some money is the only success that will make them happy. As you have stated money will not come easy, you will have to dedicate a lot of time and effort to see some results. Most people think that you just have to push a button and money will fall into your hands.

i like the button push method .. Hard work sucks,....takes tuuuuu mutch timeee!!

------------------------------------------------------------------------
The main trouble is this. there are many of these so-called.. push button promises that comes, "un invited" to our emails promising $$$$thousands, "potentially" income stream.
Truth is, you pay $50, then you discover you need to spend few hundred more $$ to get that "oooooh secret squirrel software,
YEAH RIGHT!!!
IMAGINE, 1000 suck.r oops, i meant unsuspecting people buying into that scam at$50/ sign up..

Chi.--Ching!! for the sender of that email.

I hate to admit this, but I was one of those suckers.. one time was enough to teach m that lesson.

If only many of thee people would learn from the farmer..

bamboo, a very usefull plant.. iwas told, takes 4 to 5 years to even make a useful item from it, to build a good raft , we may need to wait 10 years to get bamboo reeds 2 inch in diameter.. ( don't quote me on this,, verify first)

Law of attraction do take some effort.

I am still hunting affilite links and planning value addig content.

My apologies for talking plain in plain sight.
---------------------------------
many folks out there do look for a easy meal..I seen them do it...
And many of the ones who put in years of sweat.. i see them loose it all in divorce courts...."if you know what i mean"

Les Brown emphasizes, "Quality People Only" Dont allow sweet appearances and promising sweet genet***alia" to desuade from your vision and goals. The going philosophy amongst personal development folks,
"find people more success than ourselves then LEARN FROM THEM How to catch own fish, not destroy such people to please personal hate and hurts.
BUT.... II must do my time...till harvest comes in.

Don't give up folks, Find a need and fill it!

You are absolutely correct, Chris !

Great comments JAHBOBCLATO!

You are absolutely correct

I try to relate it to gold mining. Over time you father the tools you need but that doesn't mean you will find the gold. You need to keep searching and, hopefully, once you get the right spot, find the right niche, locate the perfect software it will all come together. In the meantime, we all have to pay the price.

remember the book, "three feet from gold" ?

Never heard of it. Sounds appropriate though from the title.

It was produced by the Napoleon Hill foundation.

It was a very good book!

Yes we do, but how many quit just before they find success!

I was guilty of that in the past.

I am with you till the end Brian, if there's such a place. Thanks for the post and make it a great weekend.

Thanks and I appreciate your comment

I'm new here and I wanted to say thank you for motivation words!

Have a nice weekend!

Best wishes

You're welcome and I appreciate it!

It gets tough some days, you tweak and change to generate traffic, you get discouraged, frustrated and want to say forget this .... But those who are truly committed to being successful will stick it out no matter how hard it gets. Usually when you're about ready to throw in the towel, that's when your site is about ready to "blow-up" big!

Right on Rob!
