If your pages and post are being indexed into google.. but your site alone isn't... Is this a problem with the site or just google not indexing it for some reason.?
I have
Keep in mind that Google indexes pages before sites. It's pages that will show up in the SERPs rather than sites. You're going the right way. The rest will show up soon enough.
Sorry, I can't answer your question, but it does raise one for me. I am curious about how you find out your pages and posts are indexed.
Normally you will get an email from Google or WA. Lettiing you know that you are indexed. Also, you can see it at SiteRubix vs
Managing your files. Look on your post that you published already.
I was trying to say that my problem with indexing is not with my site but with my posts and pages. My site has been indexed and Google did notify me..
my problem with mine is... my post gets indexed. but not my site. Under Site Manager it reads no under google index.. But all my pages and post are indexed.
I don't know if I should keep posting and it will fix itself. I've been checking all my all in one and that stuff and can't seem to figure out if I am missing something or did something wrong.
Wish I could help. Will be interested in the results of the recommendations you have received.
ChrisShouse has given you my answer. Go back and be sure that the "Do not Index in Google" has not been checked.
Best Wishes,
Anita
When you first set it up did you check the box that said not to index and forget to uncheck it?

Update... I've been using my time to find out if I did any thing wrong. I haven't been posting in this time. After going through every thing and it's all in order. Someone told me not to stop posting. More and more posts will give me trust with Google faster. I've been writing these past couple of days (what chance I get). I will keep you posted to see if this works.
My post are being indexed, just not my site.
I'm the type of person that would like to do things on my own before getting a hold of customer support. But if this doesn't work, I will.
Thank you for all your help. You all are wonderful.

I cant seem to find a good theme for my site that I'm satisfied with. How often can I change my theme without hurting my ranking or my site? Does Google penalize your site for
Thank you so much for your help. I have started a new site and I'm going through them now... next time I change my theme I want it to be up to my satisfaction
Thank you again. I so much appreciate the help.
I wasn't aware there was a limit. I change mine from time to time and have not seen traffic numbers changing at all.
I suggest you create a new siterubix website where you can experiment on things like themes, plugins etc. before you implement them on your real website.
No...as a matter of fact the new organic themes expire faster than processed ones and have to be changed out more frequently due to no preservatives.
Just be sure to delete the unused themes as not to overload your framework. Appearance>>>Themes>>>click on the Theme>>>> Click the red "Delete" link at the Bottom Right....Repeat
I found a competing niche site and I like many things they have done, so I found a theme that was similar. Keep it simple so people can read it easily.
Set up a test website to try out different themes and plugins so you're not messing up your real website Choose a New Theme
Okay, buddy. You know I have Aspburgers. Is my answer funny or does it sound like I'm being a smart butt?
That's a great question! I usually hide my site from Google when I'm doing any kind of design work so that I'm not sending tons of messages to the search engine during a period when I'm changing things around. There's a setting under "Reading" settings I believe that allows you to check it and it discourages the search engines from indexing your site until you uncheck it again. Not sure the answer to your question if you don't do that though.
As often as you want, but you will have to take the time to see how it affects your layout and design.

my about page content doesn't show up when viewing,,, its says "OOPS".. but to edit,, the content is there. what did I do wrong
Have you actually published it?
Is it published as a page and are you looking for it in the correct location?
Check that the visibility is public.
I hope you are able to solve it.

I gave my link to a friend of mine. when she went to look it up, it came up as not found.
Go here https://goo.gl/ and shorten that big ole long URL.
For instance, this is the affiliate link to this question https://my.wealthyaffiliate. com/social-engagement-marketing/my-link-dont-work-when-typed-in/a_aid/1dca9961
Here it is shortened. https://goo.gl/yprsWA
When you sent the link to your friend was it the WA Account link or an account link from an affiliate company you are representing?
Could be the link has been broken and you need to resend?
it was a WA account... after trying it a few times.... she got it... she said she typed it wrong... thank you

I would like to change over my blog post to where it doesn't have a comment section on each one.
Do This>>>go to your WordPress Dashboard>>>>go to the "post" tab on the left and click it>>>>>>> click on "all posts">>>>>> hover over the posts that you want to turn off comments on>>>>>>at the bottom click on " Quick Edit">>>>>>> on the left you will see an option, " Allow comments,">>>>>>uncheck it.
If you ever need real time one on one free training, Skype me at TeddyBear7995.
Yes you can, it should be at the bottom of the page of the edit post and all you have to do is check yes/no leave comments. Hope this helps.
