I've been in Thailand for about 3.5 weeks now, and have spoken to literally hundreds of other internet marketers over the past couple of weeks. It's been amazing.I don't know the best way to get my point across except by just telling the story of the past month, and why it relates to you.I flew into Krabi at the start of October to spend a week relaxing with my wife and getting over my jet-lag, before flying back up to Bangkok a week later.I'm in a few online communities besides WA, and one of

Hey everyone,Episode 30 of my podcast is due next week, and since it's a big episode (I feel like 30 is a milestone) I wanted to do an FAQ type episode, and go through the 30 most frequently asked questions people have about affiliate marketing. I could probably think of a good 20 myself, but I'm curious what the community has to ask, so if you want me to cover your question in my next episode, write it below, and I'll get to it in the episode.Cheers!Note: These questions can be as newbie or ad

It’s not a secret that I’m a huge fan of Amazon. They’ve sent me a lot of cheques over the years and I’m even on good terms with some of the higher ups in the affiliate program. They're one of the biggest online retailers in the world, and they let us get a share in that.Of course, their affiliate program, Amazon associates, isn’t perfect. You don’t have to look far to find the common complaints. The cookie is only 24 hours long, the commission percentages are

I've been meaning to write this post for a while but kept forgetting. A couple of other posts recently reminded me to get it done, because there is a lot of misconception going around about what constitutes a long-tail keyword.Let me just say right off the bat...The length of the keyword, the number of words in it, has NOTHING to do with it being considered "long-tail" or not.I have seen quite a few times people saying a long-tail keyword is a keyword with 4 or more words.I've even seen them ca

I was looking through my Paypal Report for June 2017 yesterday, and I knew it had been a good month. What I wanted to know was just HOW good it had been.So I went into the reporting tab, and picked "Sales report".Paypal reporting can be quite messy to interpret when you have dozens of transactions coming in and going out of your account every day, so I just wanted to see..how much did my company sell in June? Here's the screenshot for your viewing pleasure:Yep that's right, we were only $5,000 s

The question about using Amazon product images on your site comes up pretty often, and I've seen a LOOOT of different answers.Generally, people want to know if they're allowed to do it.Believe it or not, my years of building authority and influence means that I am on a first name basis with the head of Amazon's EU affiliate program, so I was able to ask him directly on this. The answer is...yes, but you have to do it within their guidelines. You are allowed to use Amazon images, but only if you d

Hey everyone,Hope Christmas was great for you if you celebrate, and hope last week was great for you if you don't.Anyway, I just wanted to put together a short tip about creating your own swipe file. In fact, you should probably create several. What's A Swipefile?Basically, you "swipe" examples of things such as article titles, landing pages, email headlines, and whatever else you think you might use yourself, and keep them in one place for future use.Example Of How To Create And Use OneI bet y

Writing reviews is an integral part of what we do as affiliate marketers, so the sooner you get better at this, the better your results will be.In many cases if you are already getting traffic, it's a quicker-win to work on getting more sales from your existing site visitors, than it is to get more traffic.I've had sites go from $50 per month to $500 per month simply by making changes to the existing articles and nothing else, and I'm sure many of you can do the same. It's hard to come up with a

I recently shared a training with my customers to help them get their first Amazon sales, and wanted to share the same concepts with you all here too.For those of you who aren't aware, when you first join Amazon you get 90 (or it might be 180 now) days to make your first sale, and if you don't get it in that time, you get kicked out of the Amazon affiliate program. When this happens, it's not the end of the world, as you can re-apply, but it's pretty disconcerting and some people throw in the to

People have asked me for an update to my $0 to $10,000 post (for those who've not read it, it's here: https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/domw/blog/0-to-10k...)I didn't want to just do a "One year later" type update, so I waited for something good to come along instead. This is that post! How I Learned To Stop Worrying And Love Black FridayLast year I didn't do a single Black Friday promotion. I was burned out with all the other affiliate offers I was getting and decided I wanted to set myself a part
