First Question: I don't understand how to Paste the AdSense Code into the HTML of my site https://bestaffiliatemarketingonline.com; when it says "between the and tags".
<

Hm, learned something, did not know that you had to have own Domain name to place ads on a site!

You don't own the siterubix subdomain so you can't put ads on it. You'll need to have your own domain name.

Check this out!

Follow these steps and you'll have it in no time. Ads do not show up right away so be patient. Google needs to approve your site first.

Steve

Thank you Steve. Appreciated.

I hope you helpful information in WA. If not please let me know. Thanks

I have not tried this as yet. I hope you will find an answer soon.
All the best.

Are you pasting in the text and not the pretty part. Not sure exactly what it is called but if it looks like words you can read just click on the other platform. It's grabbed stuff.

Tried and true

Elaine

Hi you should be able to place the code within either a text section or widget. You may have to go to the text vs visual section if you are using Wordpress.

Hello! Here's some training to help you out. The part that you want starts at 2:00 into the video. Take care.

Hi Larry,

I am afraid I am no help here. I have yet to apply for it.

Did they accept you already?

Here is a link to the, I hope, an easy answer to apply :-)

Thank you Philip. I don't have it yet, but I just want to understand how to do it. Following your suggestion, it looks to be simple enough. I will follow through when I get the code. Thanks again.

Larry.

Most welcome Larry, though I might suggest, it is very early and even too early to do this step. Keep to training and keep on adding your unique content. Once traffic gets up then by all means Rock On with the adsense code :-) .

I don't understand how to Paste the AdSense Code into the HTML of my site https://bestaffiliatemarketingonline.com; when it says "between the 'head' and 'head' tags".

Hi, i used plugin head and footers, when you can paste code into window using that plugin and thst plugin put it where necesary.

Sorry, the right name of plugin is "insert headers and footers"

Thanks Leanita, much appreciated.

What is the difference between blogging; siterubix content; wordpress editing; or just making comments following a lesson for example?

Featured Comment

1. blogging is just the act of writing for the Internet. Think of it as journaling online
2. SiteRubrix is just WA's host address (URL)
3. WordPress is a platform for writing like MS Word
4. making comments is like a public discussion board

This makes so much sense to a newbie like me. Thanks for the clarification, Steven!

Candice

Thank you. glad it helps.

What a brilliant explanation!

Thanks steven, I shall frame that one!

Wayne

Thank you, Wayne.

Quality straightforward responses is all that is needed

Wayne

Thank you, Steven. Great answer and much appreciated. Basically, it doesn't matter where you write, it all boils down to the same thing -- content on the internet! It is picked up and recognized on Google as content, no matter where or how it is done! Am I right? Again, thank you!

Yes and No. You can write anywhere. Site Content has a few pluses.
1. You can organize your content in buckets corresponding to your menu which helps when you have a lot of posts to manage on your site.
2. You can see which posts have been ranked on Google easily.
3. When you go to publish it checks for unique content.
4. You get a word count. (More concerned with quality content than length but it's a standard of measurement).

Downsides:
1. Spell and grammar check are not as good as MS Word
2. Placing images is easier after post is published

You're on a roll!

Thanks Steven!

Wayne

LOL you should read the article I wrote for Karen explaining the basics with an analogy to building a house :)

Sounds interesting!

Wayne

Good question and thanks Steven for explaining.

Hey Larry,

I see Steven has you covered for this one :-) .

Yes, and thank you too! :) I have been writing some stuff, but not yet published, so have been busy with that and just life in general. Have a great day and will check in later.

Great, I am glad. The community here really is amazing and actually, truth be told, Steven explained it better than I was going hehe.

I am glad and as time goes by you will get quicker as you get more fluent in stringing posts together.

Are you using Site Content Platform to do your posts? I think I asked you before and certainly is highly recommended.

Yes, I do. However, I like to keep looking back over the text to make sure that I am staying on track, so I prefer a regular word processor which shows more of the open page rather than just a few lines at a time and more control of the font, but this works too.

No problem Larry, whatever works best is the right one to use for you. Site Content Platform I like because it checks for duplicate content etc before posting. This way I KNOW I am not gonna get hit with a one line dupe even by mistake.

You certainly can do it in word doc and copy and paste to Site Content for spell check etc.

Someone told me that I must type and not copy paste, because Google will rank it lower. :)

Anyway, I almost always type my content rather than copy paste. It serves two purposes: one to develop a tolerance for typing while not killing my wrists; and secondly to keep Google happy and allow me some rankings above page 1000 or whatever it is! :)

Yes, so now you see that copy paste is no good. This is good and proper way to do it. I am retiring for the night, but tomorrow Larry, I will message you and we will talk about some options for future posts with applyng SEO and how we can string this together quite easily.

Not to worry as you are still only starting out and I have made every single mistake, I even invented new ones lol, and I am still here. You will get there through hell or high water - take care for now Larry :-) .

Hey, I just learned something!

Yes, I usually learn something almost every day, often times in the most unexpected ways too! :)

Steven and David have it covered. Actually Steven went into more detail than I was going to.

Tried and true

Elaine

Right, thanks Elaine.

Just to add to what Steven has excellently laid out;
Site Rubix' Site Content content is the 'canvas' or editor used for writing blogs/articles (content) in preparation for publishing to WP.

David

Thanks David. Good answer too! :)

Hello!

So, being that Steven A answered this perfectly, I will not have to add anything.

Best wishes,
Cathy

Thank you, Cath88.

In my site's dashboard, when I click on the posts tab, the names of my posts are shown in a vertical format with all the characters streaming vertically instead of horizontally

Larry, try shutting down your computer and router and then after few minutes restart your computer and router.

Hi Larry,

That is your blog roll and I don't believe you can change the listing format. That is part of the theme plugged into WordPress. How's everything else going for you :-) .

Hi Philip. Thanks. I finally gave up on GoDaddy as I was getting nowhere with them. My site would work for one or two days, then it wouldn't. I would go back and check the settings and everything looked ok. This was repeated several times. So I finally got a new Domain name and set it up in WA. So far, that one is working fine. As I often hear, experience is a great teacher. :)

Has this been answered to your satisfaction Larry? Please PM your site link if you like so I may have a look.

Or you can click on the blue SiteRubix button on the left menu and click on SiteSupport. Dave

You can also try posting your question here under the technical section to try to get an answer.

How do I point my GoDaddy site to the WA site's ip address? I input the DNS values at GoDaddy's nameservers, but where do I put the ip address?

Hi Larry,

While you are in the GoDaddy site;
Click a domain name in the list below to go to its DNS Management page:
YOURSITE.com.
On the DNS Management page, at the bottom of the Records section, click Add and select A from the menu.
Complete the other fields:

Points to IP Address - Enter the IP address your domain name uses for this host record.
TTL - Select how long the server should cache the information.
Click Save.

Godaddy told me to go where you instructed. What I need is the IP address of WA. What IP address should be put there?
