I think I may have found a Niche!!!
So, tonight, I was talking with a very great friend of mine. She was ecstatic because she had just bought a new (second hand) pram for her unborn baby and her 14 month old son. It got us talking and how I was comparing and tossing up between 3 different prams for my baby girl... how you get what you pay for and where to shop for if you want a bargain! Then the topic changed to car Seats and Carriers/Capsules! She told me that she was glad I knew what I was talking about because she had no idea! As i am sitting here going through my lessons and tutorials, it came to my attention that when I became a first time mum 4 years ago with my prince and even when I was pregnant with my princess I had t do research upon research to find what i wanted to find... it went through site after site, shop after shop... with no success! And now tonight after a simple conversation with an expectant mum... it turns out i did learn something and i want to be able to put the top Prams and Top Car Seats and Carriers/Capsules, into one page!! So other parents don't have to go through agonising over which is safest for their unborn child!
We are still deciding though because there are so many more ideas going through my head what i could use!

You have some great ideas. You do want to have a narrow niche.
I do have one comment. When you write articles for your website you need to use short paragraphs and short sentences. I was ready to leave when I saw the length of your article above. It is too long and the sentences run on. You want to have a quality website not only in appearance but in your writing.

Unless I am seeing something different than the original post, her article has only nine sentences, eight of them being in the first paragraph. Yes, there are run-on sentences and those can be difficult to read and understand. I don't think her blog post was too long, just that it could have been written in shorter sentences as you said.
When writing this, the way I structured my paragraph didn't even cross my mind. Thank you so much for pointing it out. Honestly though, when I first wrote it, the length was double, possibly triple what it is now. haha. So I thought I did well to keep it that short. There are some blog posts i have seen that seem to run on for days.
I will treat this a little differently to my website though I think. Thanks for the feedback though, it will definitely make me more conscientious of the structure of my paragraphs etc when it comes to my website. :)
Great idea. Have fun with it. You could help a lot of young mothers and even grandparents picking out a gift for a newborn! Also, this is a niche that is always going to be around...
Thanks! I am definitely only in the planning stages yet. Im using my free website as a template. Then when I have the hang of it, I'll purchase my own domain name and make it better. Its something that will always be there... something that can constantly be updated, with new and relevant information.
Congrats! Think of the number of mothers you can help! Your site is going to be a treasure trove for new mums. :)
I do need to do more research. I want to cover this niche in as money countries as possible! so have to research the trend in each continent i think. but now i have my base... its time to expand! and Thank You! i hadn't even gotten to the "Finding a Niche" lesson yet!
That's the cool thing about doing this stuff... Once you figure out how it works, it can be duplicated as many times as you want
Ill be doing my research, going through everything with a fine tooth comb! just the anticipation to do all the research I can, then get everything together and up and running... its giving me goosebumps! I'll achieve my goals in no time!! I never thought i would be so excited over baby transport safety! Who knew right!! :)
Funny you mention baby transport safety or child car seats. I was an instructor (in the past) on how to do this, and have done it many a time. If I can help you further with let me know!

Thanks! Im actually pretty excited! and I think we have a starting point! After all, I only have to start and when I get more confident, then I can branch out into other Niches... this one will not be the be all and End all! :)
