How to avoid hurricane clean-up scams

If you are among those affected by the hurricanes in Texas and Florida, keep in mind that this is the time when scammers come out of the woodwork to take advantage of the situation, especially in the clean-up and debris removal.
The Federal Trade Commission Consumer Information Bureau posted an article today warning consumers in the affected areas to be aware of scammers and offering tips on how to avoid them.
