If you want to leave Wealthy Affiliate Premium Membership
I've seen and answered a bunch of people about this, so I will post it here. If you decide to leave here's what to do:
Click on your picture at top left, then account settings at bottom right, scroll down to subscription settings, membership, stop billing & cancel membership.
You can NOT downgrade from premium to starter membership.
We'd all be sorry to see you go, but if you must please know that you can rejoin when you are ready to do so.

Thank you for the information because I have noticed several different have left but they have their reasons though.
This post has nothing to do with reasons. I would have published as a training but haven't been here long enough to do so. With the new ux in place people are asking in live chat and only a couple of us would tell them how. Everyone else tries to get them to stay. I decided to post it so a link could be given rather than retyping the same thing multiple times per day.
You can still publish it for training as long as you been three months or more I believe. We don't want to lose anyone but people have their personal reasons why they want to leave and we don't know what those are. I agree with you about posting once so everybody knows how to do it now.
In general, I agree; however, just be aware that there are legitimate reasons that someone might need to quit.
There's no doubt that there are reasons to leave. The whole point of the original post was that the question gets asked so often that it's easier to just have a link with directions than to keep remedying the same message over and over again.
Personally I wish that everyone could stay and become a success, but each person needs to make their own choices. I wish everyone success in their chosen path.
Why does someone want to leave? Too much hard work? Kyle addressed this in a blog post a couple days ago. WA is a whole lot of awesomeness that, when followed, will get you a return on your investment. But it takes hard work. As my generation used to say, you gotta "pay your dues."
Too many people are looking for that golden elixir that will, "poof," provide everything to them on a silver platter... I guess those are the ones that want to leave.
Cary, I agree with you 100%. I can't figure it out, but when you answer the same question multiple times per day you start to do a slow burn.
I think a lot of the problem comes from those late night infomercial type things. You know, "Buy this and make money with the push of a single computer mouse button." But wait, there's more! If you act right now, the next 5 callers only will get a free Maserati after there 1st sale!
Give me a break. They should make those idiots give back every cent they have ever made from the time they started. The only place success comes before work is in the dictionary.
Anyway, I tend to call things as I see them and sometimes people don't like it. As the younger generation says, My bad.... lol
I love it here..all that I have met have been awesome. I'm going to hang in there as long as I can...forever?? Hopefully.
I have seen it a few times. I'm just having a cranky time. Which is exacerbated by some of the comments, questions, and posts I read.
I understand that fully! Believe me when you are in pain 24/7/365 you get cranky. I always try to make things the easiest way that I can do them, thus this post. I can just post a link instead of writing the same thing 6 or 8 times a day.
You seem like a pretty good guy, so I didn't know whether you were being sarcastic or just what, hence my comment.

Not me, I am for long term
Me too. I'm here as a new home. But, it's not for everyone. I just saw someone leaving that's been here just a month, but found a new shiny object. ;-(
