Hi there,

I recently started the affiliate bootcamp training and i came up with the idea to target laborers as my niche/group of people.

I am wondering if this is

It's actually a pretty good niche in my opinion - I recently came across an Instagram channel named "onthetools" or something & they were targeting the laborers niche and it made me think what a great idea it was. They had even gone to the point of creating their own merchandise too which I thought was really cool..

where is their pain and how can you solve it

I agree with several folks, down below. (altho they would probably be surprised to hear it). You have not indicated what types of products or services you are promoting unless you are waiting to see what this group of laborers need. (this is a very broad target group since just about any blue collar/noncollar job could fit into this grouping.)

Not silly in the least. Although the term "laborers" does seem fairly broad, I wonder if you could break it down into sub-niches in order to cover more ground? It'll be interesting to follow the direction you take this.
Sue

I don't quite understand what it is. Laborers are good. What are you planning on targeting them with?

a target audience is someone you choose to help, and provide solutions to their problems, usually because you can connect with and identify with them in some way, usually because you are knowledgeable...they are not actual 'targets' themselves for anything bad

Hi Bryan,
The only silly question is the one not asked...
I think labourers sounds like a great niche.
Do you have a target market or a type of labourer in mind?

Hi Matthew,

I was thinking maybe upholstery(Floors and Windows), since i am currently in that business myself.

Do you think this is a good idea?

Thanks in advance!,

Bryan

Hi Bryan,
Sounds interesting, when i think of upholstery i thought of chairs or lounges so floors and windows got my attention.
I look forward to seeing some of your work.
I would say Go for it Mate..
All the best,Matt.

Thanks Matt,
I probably used the wrong term. Im the guy that puts (and cuts)the carpet on Floors and installs window decoration(blinds etc) and Curtains.

Bryan

That make sense Bryan,I was wondering how you would upholster a window...still doesn't change anything,Big market.
plenty to talk about everything from how to put up a curtain rod to knee pain solutions or tools to assist in carpet laying.
Hope this helps.
Matt.

That's a pretty broad level. Consider narrowing it one notch to say garment laborers or woodworkers!

I think it's a good idea. The niche is probably wide open

I think laborers are as good as anybody else...and everybody wants more money :)

that's a target audience you are considering, maybe treat them like any other target audience - can you connect with them and from there help them?

Hi there WA Community,

I have been here for a week now at WA and i have to say wow, what an awesome community. I have just upgraded to premium and have now started the s

Thanks alot for all of your input folks!

Bryan

Hi Bryan, I would advise most people to do one course at time as a lot of the training in bootcamp and certification overlap a bit. When I started I was advised to do Certification first and then do Bootcamp. You probably have a lot more skills than I had and I don't doubt that you could handle both but I would still advise you to just do one at a time. All the best Margaret

I started not to long ago as well. Since I'm still working my 9-5, I haven't had the time to deep into research and figuring out my niche. So I read about the Bootcamp and decided to check it out. It's sooo good!!! I'm getting a lot out of the lessons and feel very comfortable with the information given. From what I'm learning, it will bring in an income a bit faster (with working at it of course) than if you're stuck on your own niche. As soon as I get the Bootcamp established, I'll return to my own niche with more experience and confidence.
Hope this helps.

To our success!!!

Opinions vary. I would start one course and finish before proceeding with another. Again, opinions vary

Hi Bryan,
I am still in my early stages here. I am progressing slowly because of working 9-5 at the same time. I started off with certification but got stuck because I did not have a specific niche.

I attempted to do Bootcamp at the same time with certification but found myself overwhelmed with info overload and a lack of focus. I asked a question and was advised to follow the bootcamp, which I find excellent if you want to promote WA.

However, the material for both is effectively the same. (Certification is right for you if you already have a niche) I hope this helps. Make it a habit to visit the classroom and check specific topics. I also find it helpful to search for any help topic in the search box. It connects you with other WA members who can help you in the related topic.

Choose what you feel comfortable with and focus on following without missing any step. You've already had advice from others, so build up on this. Also check Loes training, she gives valuable tips too.
Wishing you all success.

Hi Bryan,

Absolutely you can mix the two.

Your level of knowledge grows with both.

I found Bootcamp was advancing more quickly than I was processing all the new information, so I went back to the Certification lessons.

The beauty of WA training, is that you go at your own pace.

There really are no wrong ways to work through the information.

Make sure you take in Jay's video training as well. Now that you have your premium membership, you have access to everything!

There is no end to the learning!!! :)

All the best to you.

Susan

Hey Bryan, congrats on your first week here at WA. Now hear this...

Don't start Affiliate Bootcamp!!

If you've picked out a niche for the Online Certification Course that you're fond of, stick to it. Trying to balance both at the same time will drive you insane and leave you with little results.

I don't mean to be so dramatic, but I'm only speaking from personal experience. Building two websites at once can get overwhelming.

It's better to give it your all to one website then 50% to 2. Once your first site is up and running though(making money), then you can move on to Bootcamp.

Best of luck!!

Diana

Hi Diana,

I disagree, I think a lot depends on how good you are in learning and doing as instructed.

He can surely split up the time. It is like school class, they do more as only learning 2 topics. If it would be that hard to learn all schools in the world would have changed their system by now. :P

Saying that, Nerd out.
