Free falling down the WA ranks...
OK, recently one of the ambassadors here at WA was a bit worried about her ranking. She had so many things to attend to and spending time on WA had to take a back seat.
I told her not to worry about that. Priorities shift, that is what life does to us. And soon they will shift again. I remember telling her that she would be #5 forever.
My ranking has been in the low 700's lately, just minding my own businesses and answering a question here and there occasionally.
This morning things suddenly were different. I dropped from 713 to 2811. Did WA have a ranking software update the equivalent of a Google Hummingbird and Panda combined or is it just me?
Anyways, imagine all the cool and interesting people I get to meet when traveling the WA ranks up and down again.
"Hi, my name is Bryan. Wow, what a great/cool/interesting thingy you've got going there. Please, tell me more about it..."

It's evening here and I just got on the computer. Yours was the first blog I read about this. I missed all the excitement - it's all fixed and back to normal.

Ow, now I have to go back apologize to all those people that I zoomed past on my way up again. Sorry, it got fixed so fast I did not have time to say hello.
201 to 844 here...will be interesting to check tomorrow...not that the ranking matters much ;-)

Hm, the number 4 starts popping up. So if we all divide our new ranking by 4, we can put this non-issue to rest and get on with what we were doing.
So where were we Karina? Oh yes, you were just telling me how far away from home you found a new home, right...
It, so OK :) Many people have already noticed the same thing. But maybe it is intentional - to make us humble and work harder hahahaaa
Hi Egon, you might be on to something :-). And indeed, a quick round through WA shows that many more people are enjoying that free falling sensation. Now, lets see, did I pack a parachute or not...

Wow, glad I missed all the fun! I just did a search to get some info on Adsense plugins and found this thread. There's so much to learn here at WA, I guess I'm trying to just stay focused on building good websites, and not worry too much about rankings for now.
