My twitter and Google+ accounts share the same username as the one I use here at WA, and my Facebook and Pinterest are my full name - they don't match.

Should I create new

Yes me too, I have the same account for years with my personal name. I just use what accounts I've already have with the exception of Facebook in which I created a fan page.

Good Question.

Thanks

I personally would recommend site name or brand with twitter and creating a business page on both google+ and Facebook. If you sync your site with google+ and create your own business page it will actually record all stats for your site including how many clicks, how many pages views, male or female percentages for web views etc!

Thanks for the suggestions ASPeru! That sounds like a new / business account has a lot of benefits!

Sure! If you need any help with linking your site to google+ let me know, I'd be glad to help! Best of luck!

In the end of all this training, I will be branding all areas to use the same name. If you are branded and trusted, then you can link new ventures to it later on.

Thanks for your thoughts DLK!

Hey Brian,

Are you talking about third party ads being on your website or are you talking about your privacy policy not being worded right or both?

If there are links to ads on your web page from a third party, you'll need to opt-out of that ad network to remove the links from your site. If that is what you're talking about?

You can borrow someone Else's privacy policy page and edit it out with your own domain and email contacts.

I would need to see it to know exactly what you're talking about.

What is your URL?

Hi Keith:

Thanks for the response. I'm still in the stage of writing my Privacy Policy, the Getting Started, and About Me pages, so they're not even published yet.

My question is the simple one - simply about the wording in the Privacy Policy, the section I copied above. It doesn't seem to make sense to me - I think a word or two is just used incorrectly.

Maybe I should have used parenthesis - I copied and pasted, but it looks different now. It's the sentence copied in my text above - the word "send" is wrong, I think.

Does this make more sense? How should it be worded?

Thanks again,

Brian

Can you delete it and redo the pasting the Privacy Page?

Here's the sentence that I believe needs rewording:

"These third-party ad servers or ad networks use technology to the advertisements and links that appear on YOURWEBSITE.com send directly to your browsers."

Keith - I may now understand the sentence after re-reading it a thousand times. I thought the word "links" was a verb, but I now believe it is the noun form.

Sorry to waste your time - and thanks for responding!

It's still confusing to me - I think it's just not worded very well - but it may be correct. If it looks fine to you, I must just be over thinking it.

I see that now in the Boot Camp lesson three. I've went ahead and copied and pasted it to my site. It sounds right when you put the word "to" into it.

"These third-party ad servers or ad networks use technology to send the advertisements and links that appear on YOURWEBSITE.com directly to your browsers."

How about this?

Hey Brian,

About this?

Perfect! I was guessing it should be something like that, but being a noob I didn't want to change the meaning to something false, albeit grammatically correct. :o)

Thanks a bunch, exactly what I was looking for!

You're welcome! I'm glad that I was able to help you.
