Hi, I followed Kyle's video on bing site verification but keep getting
"web exception status: Connectfail
Canonical Name Records No data
If that's not working, you can try to do it manually. Just double check that the code was copied first, as the manual way can be a bit confusing for newbies.

Where is an example of a place you created the link? There's probably jut a bit of code wrong. It's working for me here in WA like you have it written.

works fine for me. Do you have an ad blocker that's blocking it? It opened in a blank page for me too, but pulled up my mail client no problem. Is there an issue with your mail client on your computer?

Did you build the sitemap with google xml sitemap yet? If so, in WMT all you need to do is enter sitemap.xml as I believe it already gives you the website.com part. The full URL, should be the link that kyle showed you below.
Let us know if you get this fixed.

That should be the format of your sitemap. If you enter this incorrectly or you have not set-up your SiteMap yet, then you are likely going to get a 404 error.

I'm adding a featured image on a post that requires a credit.I know how to add it for a page image but can't find how to do it for the featured image.Help please.</
I just make sure I give credit in the post itself. There's no way to add a link to the featured image section without customizing your code. You can just say "featured image credit" and link appropriately to give the person credit.
On the right hand side in many thEmes on the pages page about halfway down is a field that says add featured image. put your image there from your gallery.
Thanks, I can do that but I want to hide the image credit source so it only appears when the mouse hovers on the image.With page images you can click on the picture and add it but not with featured image posts.

Is your picture shown in a preview of your posts? but not the post itself?
If so it could be that you inserted your image into the featured image area and not the post itself.
Can you provide a link to your site to see?
