Reloads for edits done a few times so should be several draft copies, but none appearing

Hi. I've found it pays to save everything everywhere, in case it disappears! We are living in a virtual world after all! Jan

Got everything back quite quickly.
After rummaging in every WA drawer, found the training pages in my history locker. Better finish them it quickly and Publish
Look out its coming your way now for you to take care of!

Thankyou for your concern

On your profile page click on Training on the top right of the page. Your unpublished draft should be at the bottom of the list.

Thank you Marion
I actually found it by clicking on my history ....all the individual pages were listed there so able to retrieve from that location.
Got quite panicky when they failed to appear under the training heading as per normal.

What a nuisance that can be! Have you gone to your profile and clicked the "Training" tab in the top right corner (the page where you view your credits...)? Even if you have not yet published your training, it should still appear here..

It pays to save a copy of it elsewhere in case the original does get erased...

All the best with this, Brookline.

Found what I wanted under my history .. Individual pages were listed there ... A bit of strange occurrence but all's well now.
Thank you for your concern.

That's certainly another good avenue to take, check the history! Glad you found what you were after. Best.

I often scan items related to my niche from newspapers and magazines. In the past I have saved these as reference source.

Idealy I would like to extract parts of these to

Like PjGermain said you have to mention the source of the article you using.

Many thanks for your help.
One of my favoured software companies is offering me software that seems to solve problems of this kind OCR , PDF and related stuff.
If I private message you with the details would you give your opinion as to its worth?

Extracting and including is indeed permitted, just mention source and use quotes.

PDF is do-able, but I wouldn't go there, that would require another step for your reader. No, it's not really straight text.

On the other hand, there is OCR software available. For example, I can take a photo of an article with my iPhone and send the image up to a website and have it transcribed. But, this generally is Not economically feasible for article writing.

Is there a copy and paste facility to enable privacy policy page to be copied from one site to another, and then edited re the site title in the site the privacy policy has bee

yes indeed you can. The privacy policy is a legal requirement so always you make sure that your website address is accurately inserted.

Yes! I did the same!

Yes

You can just copy the entire privacy policy that Kyle gave in his lesson and paste it into the website that you are wanting it in. Just change the information so that it is relevant to your website.
