Okay...so I don't think this is hurting anything, but I cannot figure out why it suddenly started happening.

When I click on the log me in button there is a http://h126.dir

Good post! I did a search on h126.direct in Google to find out what this was and this discussion is ranking 3rd! Next time, I should do a search in Wealthy Affiliate if I have such questions ^_^

LOL Woot! I ranked in Google! :)

Thanks for posting this - just noticed it in my url. Had a minor panic going on :)

I had a similar issue with someone 'prefixing' my .url and I was led to some crowd checking on domain name stats. Anyway it has gone now. I been in PC's for years but there is always something new cropping up! (Thanks Carson...at least there is someone out there who has an idea!:)

Hi Carson I can't past the link i got from amazon ,I did just as the video said

Hey Brooke,

This just means that your domain is moving to a brand new server. We are upgrading your domain to a server that is way more powerful.

You are the only one that sees the http://h126.direct. Anyone visiting your site for the first time will see your normal domain name. The temporary http://h126.direct is showing for you because your ISP has the old location of your server in it's cache.

This will only show for you until your ISP refreshes it's DNS which could be any time, up to about 24 hours.

Cheers,

Carson

Awesome! Thanks!

Thank you Carson for this answer, because I had the same question.
Thank you @Maksim and @divadejunl for your links until this post.

Thank you divadejunl for this link

Thanks Carson, I can bin my own question now!

thanks, i got my reply

So I did a search tonight for something I was thinking about making a post on and found out that my website actually showed up on page 4 for the keywords I searched. Turns out I me

Keywords are what google looks for in ranking. You can't rank on google without known keywords.

Either you did not understand what I wrote above or I'm not understanding you.

You plan a post/page around a keyword. But maybe it doesn't have a good ranking for the keyword(s) you planed the post around. But there are going to be more keywords in your post/page than what you researched and planned your content around. Those would be unknown (to you) keywords.

So I have a post that ranked in the top 4 pages on google for a keyword that I did not plan and did not anticipate. I wouldn't have even of found it if it weren't for chance. So I did rank on Google without knowing the keywords I was ranking for.

Yes you can rank without planning keyword.. but there will always be keyword that google search in your article.. by using google analytic and webmaster tool you can see what people are typing to get to your site provided you are ranking.

The only thing that I'm aware of is google webmaster tools. That will show you what keywords your site shows up for, how often and what the average position is for that page :)

Thanks! This is along the lines of what I was looking for.

Unless you are google yourself and have the algorithm for ranking page, it is not realistic cause there could be billions of keywords out there and doing a brute search for page rank for most of those unrelated keyword is waste of time.

So I'm thinking this might be an easy fix if I just delete the comment left on my page, and I really did try to find an answer without creating a new question, but I'm a wee bit

I don't know exactly what this is but I can tell you that errors on pages are quite common, I would not get to worried about it almost every website has errors in Webster tools

Barry

Good deal. I know I have the authorship errors that are common. This one just got to me because it didn't seem all that normal. But I can let it go and focus on something else instead.

That is so strange Brooke! I am sorry but I have no idea. Left a comment. Great post!

Thanks for looking, and for leaving a comment. :) It's not like I'm ranking at the moment, but if this is preventing me from moving up in the ranks I really want to get it fixed.

So it looks like all my posts on my website are just going to one blog roll. When I had the idea for my site I thought I would be able to put different posts under specific page

The blog roll is for current updates. The pages are evergreen and have no date.

Thank you! The second link was exactly what I needed!
