Ever felt guilty when you haven't been able to find the time to deal with your WA daily responsibilities? I've been super busy the last two days, late work days and other commitments that have prevented me from logging in and taking care of business. A few stolen moments on my phone just didn't cut it. Imagine my surprise when I opened up my emails tonight - I won't say just how many there were ( a lot!), to find that "A new member at Wealthy Affiliate just accepted your invitation to try thing

I'm sure I can safely say without hesitation that every single WA affiliate is using a social media platform or two (or three or more!) for either personal or business purposes. Have you ever wondered the origin of those platforms and maybe which of them is right for you and your business? Let's take a short walk down the social media history lane:Facebook 101 – beginning at Harvard University in 2003 under the name Facemash which was an online service for students to judge the attractiv

Ever had one of those weeks when Friday couldn't come fast enough? Technically Thursday is Friday eve, so the anticipation is palpable. I need more hours in the day to get everything done: My full-time day job (working remotely definitely doesn't mean working any less) especially when it's strategic planning season! My commitment to keeping up with WA a few hours every day (which means stealing time during my day job to read and respond to comments and blogs.....sshhhh - I won't tell if you won'

Remember when you were a kid and you couldn't wait to be a teenager and then an adult because those double digits, like 18 and 25 made you feel like you'd finally hit the big leagues!Where else but at WA does it mean you've covered great ground and done substantial work and shown a level of commitment to the community in order to earn double digits?According to my profile, I'm 99 today in my 5th month at WA. So, I just wanted to say thanks to my mentor Only1Hugh and his mentor CassiOfTroy, my C

As I was sitting here thinking of what to write for this blog, I was also communicating with friends in the neighbouring island of Barbados. As I write this, the beautiful island surrounded by aquamarine waters has been covered by a blanket of volcanic ash since Saturday coming from the eruption of the La Soufriere volcano in St Vincent which erupted on Friday. The volcano is the highest peak on the tiny island of St Vincent & the Grenadines and last erupted in 1979. St Vincent has a popula

While doing a project today on social selling, it dawned on me as I have welcomed countless new WA premium members over the last few months and followed hundreds of affiliates and been followed by dozens, what the following stats are for the entire WA community: DemographicsMale:Female ratio (I think females outnumber males) Age ranges (I've communicated with an 18 year old and a veteran in his 80s)Languages spokenGeographyAverage number of years as an affiliateRange of occupationsIndustries an

Doubts Have you ever second guessed yourself and the business you have chosen after you've done all the training and taken months to build your website just the way you wanted it? Have you wondered if you really have what it takes to commit to making the business work? Are you struggling through the lessons and trying to implement them and not quite grasping all the technical jargon and how to apply the learning? Have you thought about how you're going to manage your time between your full-time

According to online encyclopedia Brittanica (remember when encyclopedias were huge hard covered books listed from A-Z and sold door to door?), the first automatic digitial computer was created by Charles Babbage, an English mathematician and inventor, during the mid-1830s. Fast forward almost 100 years to 1943, when J. Presper Eckert and John Mauchly of the University of Pennsylvania began construction of the ENIAC – 1,800 square feet of equipment, using about 18,000 vacuum tubes and weig

In the world of content creation, particularly for websites and blogs with the main purpose of selling or promoting products and/or services, one of the first rules of thumb that you hear in terms of creating content is ‘know your target audience’. That content rule is largely correct. However, for some in the industry, you will read or hear the both terms, target market and target audience used interchangeably – this is incorrect since they are not one and the same. Target M

So I just finished watching this drama series called The Irregulars on Netflix which is about a group of teen misfits who investigate a series of supernatural crimes in Victorian London with none other than our favourite English investigative duo Dr. Watson and his shadowy associate, Sherlock Holmes. What is Irregular? According to the Google dictionary, "irregular" as an adjective means: 1.not even or balanced in shape or arrangement e.g.."his strong, irregular features"2.contrary to the rules
