New Member From Kenya Problems Upgrading
I have a new referral from Kenya who is looking to upgrade to premium. He is having some problems paying with PayPal.
Does anyone know if WA is avaiable to people in Kenya?
Or if there needs to be a different form of payment?
Any thoughts would be helpful!

I believe that it just takes a bit longer with some counties . Quit a few actually. I do know it is available for Kenya but it might take some time to complete a transaction. Kyle and Carson are the best people to talk about transactions. They know way more than we do for sure.

I think it's a high risk country for fraud that needs special handling. I remember another person awhile back trying to sign up and Kyle said he would look into that case. I think best bet would contact Kyle/Carson about it.
Cmon guys that is not the case,not every body is a scam I believe we are all on this site to make a change in our lives so lets not point fingers...speaking of fraud it happens almost everywhere,when we ask question we aspect sincere answers that don't reflect negativity.
I'm not accusing you personally of trying to scam anybody/anything. However, in certain countries the rate of fraud is significantly higher, so much so that a lot of payment processors restrict payments from certain countries due to the high rate of fraud.
My answer was a sincere answer that the default payment methods that most people use might not work for people in certain countries and that it might need special attention. Hence, I recommended contacting Kyle or Carson about it.
I apologize if my initial comment offended you, that was not my intent. I was merely attempting to provide a possible explanation and a way to resolve the issue based on what I've seen in the past on WA.
I have seen others talk of another service used called Payoneer. I unfortunately don't know anything about it. Just have seen it mentioned by others for payments from other countries. Another issue I have seen is that a country is not in the list available. If that is the issue then just choose another country nearby that is on the list.
Sorry if this doesn't help, just thought I would mention them since I didn't see it mentioned yet. :)
I don't believe there is a payment option for Paypal, needs to use a regular credit or debit card. :))
Hi. I'm sure that WA is available to those in Kenya, so that would not be a problem. Does Kenya allow PayPal? That would be my first thought, as I know some have trouble here. Your friend could also use a credit card to make payment, if that would be easier. Hope that helps! :) Michelle

Hi. I'm from Kenya and I hope you already found a solution. If not, ask your referral to sign up for internet banking at his bank. It is a lot faster and more convenient than PayPal.
