I have found a number of keywords with reasonable high monthly searches that meet the criteria of below 300 qsr, and high seo power and amber kqi. should I go for a low monthly tra

Thank you all for the replies. Most helpful.

I remember Kyle referring to low hanging fruit in one of his lessons about keyword research, so based on that I would go for the low monthly traffic keyword. I hope some of the more experienced members would add their comments to assist in your decision making.

The mst importan factor its competition below 300, if you just started you could go for some keywords below 300 closing to 100, if they have over 1.000.000 search thats great.
Obviosly that many searchs will get a lot of competition, but i hope you get the idea

To start if it were me, as you are already doing, I go for the the low-hanging fruit - that is, the keywords with lower search and almost nill competition. Once you start to get a following, and your rank gets higher, obviously start going for better keywords.

Makes sense to me kmer6. Thank you.

Thank you for understanding. You see, today it seems everyone has a website. There are only so many words that a web search can input. The easiest, most obvious will inherantly get the most competition. So the not so obvious words to search for are the low hanging fruit... Yes, these words have less searches but even lower competition!
So if it were me, I'd rather compete against an unworthy opponnent than someone with a high degree of worthiness. Does that make any sense? Lol, it did to me as I typed. As you get more experienced with your posts and better ranking with the serps, then you go for the more obvious KW's. I hope this helps

Thanks for the clarification kmer6. It certainly helps.
