Getting to the niche!
Hey you guys! So let me just start off by saying that I now feel so much better about joining this community. So far everyone has been so kind and encouraging; the support is seriously UNREAL! Not to mention I gained over 40 followers since yesterday! *YAY* Not too bad for a newbie I must say :) Now, with that said, I would like to talk about my current focus in terms of my progress: finding my niche (which from what I have seen and heard is a pretty common struggle around here).
I am still kind of trying to get things narrowed down with my personal niche. I have quite a few ideas but the main one that has been sticking out to me as of late centers around WOMEN (especially women of color). After doing a bit of research and looking at some discussion, I have found that CONFIDENCE, SUPPORT, and OPPORTUNITY appear to be the primary things women continuously struggle with maintaining or completely lack altogether. I am interested in being able to contribute to remedying this issue, but I am having trouble figuring out just what aspect of this to focus on in terms of developing a business.
Does anyone have any ideas or advice? Is this a good start? Is it too broad of an area to cover? Feel free to let me know your thoughts! It is my goal to have a set vision in mind when I build my website. Thanks again for all of the support! xoxo

What comes to mind for me is:
-ways/things to do to build confidence/self-esteem
-how-to's on ways to build a HEALTHY support system (defining healthy vs unhealthy)
-ideas on opportunities out there; how to create opportunity
I think you could really continue to expand on this a lot and make a fantastic site.
Possible affiliates: books (you could do reviews, schools/at-home courses, gyms/exercises courses and related materials.
What are your thoughts on this?

This is exactly what I was going for :))) You hit he nail on the head with the book review idea especially because I am a huge bookworm and I had just been thinking recently about ways to incorporate it! Looking into other courses/materials to put out there is a great idea as well! I can definitely work with this! :D
