Poll: What Is Your Out Of The Box Why?
So I am writing an article based on why I got into this business. My why.
It got me thinking about all our "why's". Yes, financial reasons are at the top of the list but there are other reasons we all do this.
My big "why" is my family but that is not what this post is about.
Some things like joy or enjoyment are why I still keep going. I would not have thought that when I started that joy would be a part of my why. It just never occurred to me. Which looking back seems crazy. It should have been!
I don't always like to write (sometimes I just can't) but I do get joy from finally getting an idea worked out. Basically, it is like solving a puzzle and I find enjoyment in doing that.
I have other reasons like being my own boss, not having to punch a time clock, and working on my own schedule that power me through.
And I admit it. Sometimes I drool at the financial possibilities.
BUT
What I am really getting at is what are your out-of-the-box "why's". Beyond the financial and family. The kind of things you did not think could or would be a reason?
(For the record finances and family are very big "why's", but I want to try to go beyond that if possible!)
Thank you,
Brie

Hi Brie…I like these posts as it makes you think.
Aside from pure financial and family is:
1) supplement retirement (ok that is financial)
2) I love to write
3) Writing keeps me grounded
4) I love to help people (problem solve)
5) I love learning new things
6) I love teaching others new things
That’s it for now…

I know it's vague, but one why for me is fulfillment.
