SANDBOX BEACON December 11.2017 Expectations!! Future Resentments!

Christmas, Season, and all it's anticipation! Great-times, right? Kids, with their, wish, lists, husbamds, and wives, and gorlfriends, and boyfriends, all, with secret, wishes...

All, this beautiful, illusions...Will, I get, that Ninetendo(?))...what, will, I get, from my Husband...I got, him his favorite...Will, he finally, ask, me to marry him... All, these, lovely, wishes...or are they really demands?

How, often, do we give, with the expectation, of getting, something, in return?...Pretty, common, practice...I, work, I expect to get paid, as agreed. This, is realistic! ...aa contract, beteen, employer, and employee!...One, might, expect a bonus...usually, based, on extra effort...again, to be expected

Unrealistic, expectations, are trouble!! Future resentments, waiting to happen...and staeal, your joy!...

I, was reminded, of how subtle this can, be!!...I.like to make, special, glass, pieces, for occasions...I, have few, of the many pieces, as they have been gifts!...I love making nightlights, for baby's nursery, wedding, pieces, and on occasion...for commision. The, little pic, above, was one of these, pieces. This, piece was for a women's group, a gift for a speker, at a conference."Hope", was the theme...and this bridge and lighthouse, worked, just fine. I was really, pleased. always, happy to give a piece, that felt just right!...Glass, is a mystery, until, it's all, together. Always, a surprise, when soldered, together, and held up to the natural, sunlight...I, was, so excited, to meet with Pam...who was in a hurry...I quickly, took a couple of shots! "Hey, Pam...Please send my a picture of the gal, with the bridge?"..."Sure, Barb! I, can do that!"...Never, heard a thing... ot a big deal...But, why, didn't it come to mind?? I still, ahd an agenda...get, that picture!! Probably, wasn't ever, taken! I. was told, yes!!...Probably, with no real, intention, of ever!

It'seasier, to say, Yes! and break our word, they say, NO!...without explanation! Why, explain? No! is a complete sentence.

Many, of or problems, are in the future...so, we worry, about who, what, we can control...to take care of the future! Anxiety...is Fear of the future...Faith, is our only control!!...

I, have a very, simple, plan, for the holidays...My, boys, will, get the router, or welder...The other, new clothes, for full-time work...Practical...My, friends...sometimes, stained-glass,or, coffee mug, a token...

Today, I went to the Dollar Tree!...I have these tote bags, * from various, progams, I get them all, asking for donations...not, doing, it, and still, have these bags...I will, be going out to this detox Women's center...for Their Christmas Party. I'll be stuffing these bags, with socks, and toileteries, notebooks, and pens, and candy! I, will, also, have my website, 12 Steps for Everyone! Label on various, items...Announcing, my launch date!

I, met, with a local, gal, and brought in a stained glass, piece, I'd given, a friend, back in July! While, considering, a logo, which had to be of my creation...just, me!...i"d made just the one, so, He, brought, it, back, and one successful day, was had with this gal...

I, had, the obvious, choice...Office Depot/Max, but about 8 months, ago...I ran, into this gal, putting her cards, out for Graphics, and we chatted, a bit> I, could, have had fun doing that!...But, they didn't need any help, and I was taveling this summer, anyway. I, did, remeber, her, name, was Barbara! I, had a good feeling, about her, plus, support local, neighbors, always, a good choice! So, Ihave a dynamo...taking the glass and making it may, brand!! Who, need to mess with copywrite's !?

I, just gave 2 different activities, concerning my, creations, and wants! Pam, has always, been rather flighty, and into herself...why did I expect that to change? She's like a dog, going for a bone, when she wanted the piece...I, guess, she forgot her manners.

The, other, women..becayse, of that pleasant conversation...I, looked, for Barbara. Only, 3 printers, within 2miles...I went to the first...Pakistani...no, not, her. Called, next one, Asian, again...Third, times the charm! I, called, and asked, if this was Barbar's, place? Yes, who's this??? Be, right over! One, great experience!! No, expectation, but the possible, belief, that this nice, womw=an, with a business of her, own...She, would appreciate, the business, and I would appreciate, the experience!

I, will, coninue to be vigalent , about, requests, verses, demands, especially, of, others. I, will, conrinue, to refrain, from having to compromise, my values, for others. Sickness, is sure to follow...Disease, is dis-ease!...continue to seek, balance...give and take. We , have that here, and aren't we just Blesses!

It, another, day...And, rather, rush this, to press, early...I'm finishing, up, this, way.

News, this week, is the ongoing 7/7 challenge!!... with all. folks, just dazzling, us, with their blogs!! Really, freeing!! This, challenge, changed, the Attitude!! I, went from , "Have to, write!"...to "Want to write!"... Recovery, in the 12 Steps, did, this as well!! I, didn't have to go...I, loved, going, and sharing, and helping others! Recovery, and life, and WA, as well...I, liken, to the "One-room, school, house"...we. all, show, up, with different levels, of experience, in different, area of expertise, and personal gifts!. We, learn to take the position, as, Teacher, and as Student!! "When, the student is ready...the Teacher, will, arrive!!" I, love, being in the learners, chair!! God, help, me, if I ever, forget, my place!!

I, am , back to the never, ending saga, of where did that, photo go...that is cropped...

I, have 2, I wanted, to upload, and add, but, tomorrow is another, day!!

Expectations!...when the topic, arises...Here, come an example...

I'm leery of person's motives, for certain, questions...Last, night, the "How, much money, do you...Blah! Blah!...Said, person, had all the advice, of older, and wiser...and didn't, get, it!...Continued, to push, her point!!...Arguementative...and with the expectation, that If they did, it, then, I will "expect"... good, luck...kid, didn't, seem to grasp, the "community", concept...We, all, succeed, here, as a team. I, know, who's out of their, own self, and helping others, and those, that are singly, focused, on themselves.

Meantime...the blogs, put out, are two-line...wastes, of my, time, and others...

She will, not, realize, she, is out of the sandbox!!...Negative, arguementative....," But, I Know! But, I, Know!!!..." These, people, surface...when it suits, their needs...I, need...someone to check, out, how, glorious, MY...Blah! Blah!...It, won't be ME!. Field, goal! one reject!...out of our happy place!!
