I'm thinking of getting my own domain in three words, the first word is "First". Wonder if it's a good idea to use "1st" instead as it shortens the domain length to 15 characte
I wouldn't say it's 'bad', as Google no longer use Domain names as a ranking factor - however, seeing a URL with numbers in may put people off from clicking your link as it can look like spam.
NB If you have read that it's bad for SEO then I would advise you not to use it.
All the best.
Hi Jackie, you have a point on what the audience thinks, believe using the word is a better option to me. Thanks for your advice. Brian

If the number makes sense, it's fine. But if it does not make sense, it looks a little spammy.
For example, AffiliateMarketing101. com is a valuable domain.
But AffiliateMarketing28. com (a random number) is a terrible domain.
Hi Ilias, thanks for your advice. Seems using the word without number is a better or safer option for me. Brian
