If you know someone with an addiction problem, then you know where I am coming from. That is, if you cared enough to research it??

I can't even imagine why I am putting myself out here like this, except for the fact that my site is all about this subject. I want people to know that they are not alone and that I am an alcoholic. Been sober for 11 months and feel better than I ever have, physically. My head is getting there but I know that it will take some time.

This website means a lot to me and I may not be hi-tech illiterate. I am having difficulty getting past where I am now. I will continue to fight the battle with alcoholism and the website as I feel that my experience and words could help someone. It important that that happens.

I also have a hard time with trust, as some of you can confirm. My apologies. Truly!! In the end, I will be standing with my confidence and experiences in hopes to help someone. Be good and keep on the path. Your friend. Brian.

Hi Brian, thanks for sharing...your writing about your addiction will help you and others. I've known many many people who have battled alcoholism...it's tough...I know....you're doing great.

You're in a great place for support, that's for sure.

Good luck!
Cal

Congrats on your sobriety, I have lost too many people to addiction and see so many friends who's lives are being destroyed by drug addiction specifically. It is really bad in the town where I live. You are doing a truly amazing thing and will help so many people struggling through the journey of getting clean/sober.

Brian,
You are not alone - Congrats on staying sober,
one day at a time is all it takes - just like walking
one foot in front of the other - WA works the
same way.
Trust is not something to be given lightly today,
people must earn trust - I am one who can be
trusted but not one who give much trust out.
Susan

Congratulations on your sobriety, Brian! Taking it one step at a time has brought you 11 months of sobriety. Way to go! I've taught in drug and alcohol programs. So I've seen peoples lives transformed as they walked out their sobriety.

As for your niche, who better to help others than the one who has been there, done that, and has the t-shirts. You can speak their language, relate to their pain, and to their frustration. Go for it!

We're here to help one another succeed. I genuinely look forward to reading about your continued personal and niche successes.

Best wishes!
Colleen

Great post Brian, I hope to see your website in the SiteComments area soon. If you haven't already put it up for comments.

Being honest is always the best way to be and congratulations on your sobriety. I never had a problem with drinking, my wife and I just don't drink. My dad and mom drank a lot when they were younger.

Learn to trust those here...we are all here to help each other.

I truly do wish you the best!
Bob

Congratulation on your sobriety. My sites are all about AOD counseling. I have a couple sites. First, RateATreatmentCenter.com, PickTheBestTreatmentCenter.com, and others. Being here you'll come up with the best names and you'll find the best subjects to drive traffic. The Opioid Crisis is replete with topics.

Good luck with it. All the best with both your personal challenges and your site. Cheers

I get very close to full-blown alcoholic sometimes, doesn't help that I am a commercial brewer (at times). Fortunately, I have been able to pull myself back from the edge whenever it's gotten serious. It helps to have trust in the people close to me (I know that can be tough too).

Cigarettes are a far bigger problem for me.

Stay strong Brian, It can get really depressing to be sober. And then even worse if jump off the wagon. I find in extended periods of sobriety that it helps to work my butt off - hope this is the case for you too!

Fighting addiction (for me) requires a distraction and substitution. It used to be video games, until I got addicted to those too (escapism) so now I use working on my business as my substitute. No one except my drinking buddies complain if I work too much.

Thank you. Ya, working and staying busy is the key. Never smoked but I understand it is just as tough to quit. All the best. Here if needed. Brian

Oh, and congrats on 11 months! Almost at a full year! Hopefully this means the happiest Christmas you've had in a while :)

Alcoholism is awful. I grew up with it, my dad. May you continue with your sobriety, Laura
