Hello guys,
I just did the target keyword research, there came 3 results, but I don't know which one is better.
1. AVG:199 QSR:70 SEO:94
2. AVG:284 QSR:80 SEO:87
3.

It has to be the one with the lowest QSR - less competition and better chance of ranking really high on the SERPs

Hi Robert,
Thanks for your explanation. It really helps me out!

QSR under 100
Traffic over a 100
SEO in the high 80's but try for the 90's.

Thank you for your reply!

Hello guys.
I am confusing about the keyword.
For example, if I use Jaxxy to research keyword "what is espresso tonic" and "espresso tonic, the results appear the same nu

@BenjisDad, @Phil1944 got you Brian.

Yeah, so appreciate!

Hi Brian. Good question.

So there are things that Google uses called "stop" words.

These are the words that Google IGNORES.

Remember that google is trying it's best to get the 'gist' of waht someone is searching is looking for.

so the term 'what is espresso tonic' and ' espresso tonic, someone searching for that on google are basically looking for the same thing. informaiton on espresso tonic.

another reason why yuo may not want to target that keyword is because the term 'what is espresso tonic' does not have much commercial value. Meaning that someone googling that term is not really 'ready to buy' they are looking for informaiton.

Finally one thing that you need to do is google the keyword term you are looking to rank for. What kind of results are you getting... whats ranking #1 and #2 or #3? Can yuo create a better article than that? what kidn of article is it? is it a blog? If it's a . blog, that is a good indication that yuor blog could rank if you create a better article.

So at the end of the day, be careful of stop words in your keyword research and be sure to confirm that keywords are good by googling the keyword and see what ranks.

Learned something. Thanks!

Thank you so much for your reply!
It let me learn a lot, really helpful!

Yes, definitely.

It's showing that if someone searches for "what is espresso tonic" there are only 4 other sites specifically targeting that. But there are a much larger number targeting words that include "espresso tonic".

As you'd expect, right?

Hi Phil,
Thank you so much for your reply! It's really helpful :)

But isn't 'Espresso tonic' a keyword within 'What is espresso tonic'? So would it make much difference?

Yes, because of the competition.

If I write a post around "10 really great answers to the question what is espresso tonic" I'll get some sort of ranking for "espresso tonic" but I'm competing with tons of others so it probably won't be high. But if some one actually enters "10 really great answers to the question what is espresso tonic" into a Google search, I'll probably come up as number 1 because no one else is targeting that full keyword.

You've got to remember that rank is not an absolute. It's a match between the article's keyword(s) and the search phrase.

Low hanging fruit is always a trade-off between traffic and competition.

Thanks for the clarification, Phil.
