Set it, forget it, & eyeball it later

Just thought I'd throw this writing tip out there for anyone that may be newer than myself at the whole blogging thing. I've found a half way descent strategy to avoid lack of information and to also avoid grammatical errors, it's best to step away from your computer (or at least do something else on it for awhile), and revisit it in a few hours or so. Maybe even sleep on it.

The point behind doing this is to take a look at it with a fresh set of eyeballs. You might find that you'll be able to add more content to it as you re-read it through. Also, it avoids trying to add content under the wrong conditions, that may cause for you to get awesome backspace and delete button practice. Nobody really wants to read a rushed article, nor does it help to actually release a rushed article.

Just a couple cents. Thanks for reading!

I do my best content writing in the early morning because it is the most quiet time for me and it is also the best time I can concentrate on what I am writing about. I will devote about 1.5 to 2 hours for this and then I will save it and take a break. To me, the hardest part is just getting started writing.

Yeah I hear you. Sometimes it's tough to get those creative juices flowing.

Giving time away allows your subconscious to provide you with answers (that you already knew.) Thanks for return follow. It's is great to know we are smarter than we seem.

I agree, it's far better to be smarter than we seem than to try to seem smarter than we are. That's why I usually try to keep my mouth shut! :o)

I agree. I've read things over & it looked fine to me. I went back a couple of hours later & I found about 3 spelling & grammatical errors. Now, I do that all the time before I publish it.
