Does anyone know how to do this? Thanks!

Is it because you are logged in to your site? I'd recommend using an incognito tab in Chrome or similar or logging out of your site to check whether it only shows when you're logged in.

OK, thanks!

Will this topic be covered in a later training module? Is this difficult to do? (I am currently in course 2 lesson 3) I have read about various plugins to do this, but they all

I think it is there for you to use when working on your site. When you publish your page, it won't show.

Thanks!

How do I remove the word "edit" at the bottom of my website pages?

Visitors won't be able to see that when they visit your site.

It only appears for you to be able to edit.

You are actually seeing that if you visit your page from your dashboard for easy editing no need to go back to your dashboard once you click that it will automatically brought you to your dashboard but if you go to your website directly using your link like the https:// or https: edit is not there so your visitors wont see that. hope this adds...

Are you talking about changing the color of your website or the text on your website. Changing the color will definitely require that you change the code. Changing the text color can be done with a plugin, but I personally do not recommend using a plugin. It can be a pain if you decide to remove the plugin later!

I would like to change the color on my website. As for the text, I'm not really happy with the style of font on the pages- it seems like a different one would be easier to read for my visitors.

As for plugins, from what I have read, too many of them can negatively affect the speed of the website-is that correct? If so, I guess that pretty much rules out that option.

If you dont' like the color or text of your theme, my suggestion would be to use a different one. It's not worth making a bunch of edits to a free theme.

Thanks Nathaniell,
I went ahead and switched themes and I think it looks better. This new theme isn't as elegant looking as the previous one, but it is a cinch to change the colors on the site which will give me more flexibility going forward.

Great! Glad you got this taken care of Brett!

Here's a tutorial that might help you.

Thanks Dmorrow!

Any time!
