Core “Business Start Up” Training

Just want to know what's offered here that isn't offered with a regular WordPress Business membership regarding the WordPress websites. Just want to know if I should stay here

Ah, you are getting real value here at WA with the premium membership, Brendon some thing that is not so robust and with out all the features on the WordPress platform actually costs more than here at WA.
On both platforms, we have to do the work and develop the website the real beauty of WA is all the support and the resources that we do get access to.through our membership
get stuck in it could be a game changer for you.

Great point Alex

Well, honestly cheaper is not always better, and the best part of WA is the training. So that being said take advantage of at least that aspect of WA before you decide to jump ship.Of course once you are making some money with the training you received it becomes a lot easier to justify the expense.

I want to create a work scheduled once I finish high school and I was wondering whether or not learning about things in my field of work would count as work itself. Just need t

Now that is an excellent question. I resoundingly say, yes!

What so ever one do that gives value to self and others should be considered work.

Learning, volunteering, ministry they all add value.

Think about it this way:

In school, you are working towards your degree (work).
When you get a new job, you are usually on six months to one year in working on training (depending on you level) to learn what you need to know to perform effectively, efficiently and proficiently to be productive.
Volunteering is also called work (Online of off) and you not only should but must incorporate it into you schedule.
I will recommend you convert it into a dollar figure. Just like if you are donating items for charity the same should be for you skills and talents.
Rest should also be included in that for without it performance is questionable.
To upgrade you are paid to improve continuously
Here at WA, I love the fact that it is called a "university" for learning to market your business is a never ending and it is the #1 component of a business. The only component that exposes us to customers.

So, that said, the answer to you question is YES! As long as you are doing something to improve the quality of you life and fulfill you purpose it is called work, paid or unpaid. I hope this help as you define the word work on a personal level.

I'm currently conflicted between two niches at the moment, self improvement for teenagers and a blog to help people become entrepreneurs. The benefits of the self improvement f

My advice: Choose only one. One takes an incredible amount of time if done right. Now for which to choose: Only you can make up your mind. But I will tell you that writing content will be easier if it is in a niche you know a lot about. If you choose self improvement, then begin the Certification Courses and do everything you are told to do - do not skimp on the training.
Do not overcommit yourself. Choose the one you will be happier writing about every day.

Only Westernized Philosophy tries to force us in to doing one thing at a time, when the truth is we are multifaceted individuals. Your life, your mind, your pursuits consist of more than one thing, pursue all that is put on your heart, for it is not the one thing that makes the whole, by the many!

I'd do both if I was you. Why not? I'm currently working on two. Fitness and marketing. As long as you have time for both so you're not spreading your efforts too thin, you can get results working both at the same time.

I would do the self improvement since you have experience with it for the last 3-4 years.
As your working on the site for that you will be learning how to become an entrepreneur. By the time you have your self improvement site up and running you'll have the experience to build a second site on how to become an entrepreneur.
Work with your experience first is how I feel.
Hope that helps,
Doug

Thanks man, think I'll take up your advice

The entrepreneur niche is incredibly crowded, and you'd be up against a lot of expert authority sites, you'd need to be in it for the very long haul.

I had a quick glance and self improvement for teenagers doesn't seem to be a "thing" but self-esteem for teenagers does.

Yeah your probably right about the entrepreneur niche, think I'll stick to the self improvement niche

I want to get into the self help niche as it's something I've been into since I was around 13 (I'm 17 at the moment). I need to know if self help is too broad a niche to get in

For me , even if it really too broad, I just will do my best to make it very awesome . For me , I want my website to be number 1 for every one want the benefit from this subject.

Let's see, at 17 your target audience would be your peers, right? So what kind of self help do they need or would they find useful?

For example, one of the challenges facing young people today is
having 'self-esteem'. So that might be one to get started with. It is actually a huge topic.

It's fine when starting your blog to go a bit broad and cover various self help topics --- in the beginning. As you start to write on different self-development topics: self discipline, overcoming shyness, how to set goals, and more - you will get a feeling for what you are specifically interested in pursuing and you can narrow your focus as you build out your website.

Yes, narrowing your target audience is important, but it does not have to be right from day one. You can blog your way to discover what it is you enjoy writing about. ~Jude
