Word Press Themes-Thinking Outside the Box
I am struggling to find the right Word Press Theme. I know a paid version is the preferable choice. Financially, just dont have the funds to chunk out for a paid version.
Could anyone direct me to a simple Word Press Theme on WA Platform that I can use? I seem to be picky about the kind of Word Press Theme to use.
I like to think outside the box and not follow the norm but be unique and different. I found a paid version that matches my "outside the box" but it costs a lot. Not something I can invest into right now. Later on maybe.
I am not experienced enough to understand how Word Press works. Struggle to understand it in the trainings. Its not a ready done for you thing so this is all new.
Any tips to share will be sincerely appreciated.

The other thing is go and check out some members and their sites - you may need to follow them first to see their links, but you can see samples and if you go the bottom of their pages you see the theme they have nad write it to look at later.
I’ve looked at a few other members site most have paid versions. Thats how I found the themes. Thanks for your suggestions.
Thats okay you can look at mine - both are free...one is called luck for all, and the other is...Buyprotheme - this one looks more professional and allows for a logo

In the beginning, the WordPress journey can be a little overwhelming, so you are not alone in the way that you feel.
It can be hard to settle on a theme that we can live with, it is so helpful if you feel comfortable, with your choice.
You will find that many theme providers actually have a free version, which will provide the basics and then as we grow we can move onto the premium version.
The difference between free and premium is that the later has more bells and whistles.
Something to bear in mind more bells and whistles means you need to have a better understanding in order to get the most out of the theme.

Which will provide the theme and the plugins that a site uses if we know that we can create something similar.

Going here you can explore the different themes available, there are heaps.

- popular.
- latest.
- feature filter, by using this setting we can find a theme that suits our needs, by inputting what we are looking for and then applying.
just check the boxes of the features that you are looking for.
At the moment Jay has mentioned a theme that he is using and has used in some of his weekly webinars, it seems a lite but very responsive free theme which has got a reasonable upgrade pricepoint.

One of the things to be aware of at the moment with the release of Guttenburg is that we need to be sure that the themes we are using are supported and updated regularly so that we maintain compatibility with the advances that are being made currently.

Just a matter of selecting something to get you going, don't get to phased by it or overthink it, the key is to get into the training and start creating content because at the end of the day that is what will bring you results.
On a closing note, we can change our themes whenever we want and you will find that a lot of folks will do that until they find something that they like.
