Hi kYLE,
an you please tell me how many blog posts I should post every Day?

In the Super Affiliate Challenge we were tasked by Kyle to write 12 blogs per month. That works out to about 3 a week. I suggest you aim for that.

Hope this helps.

Edwin

As many as you can whilst keeping quality at the highest level possible.

being consistent is important. If you can only afford the time to make one blog post a week then post one every week. If you can write one a day even better. Try to decide what you can do realistically and stick to it

Can you please help me find a niche???
I have read many books, and your training on the subject but I am none yhe wiser.
Maybe my head injury knocked a few brain cells ou

Mon, Sep 16, 2019

Fear not, Kevin, your brain cells are fine. It can be really, really hard to settle on a niche. A lot of people struggle to choose the "right" niche, even after taking the training. There are others who choose a niche too quickly, change to a different one later and start all over again (or get frustrated and quit because the first niche didn't work out as well as they'd hoped).

I'm sorry you're having this difficulty, but I'm glad you're still here.

I've read - from several people at WA, including Kyle - that you can choose any niche, including one you have zero experience with, and turn it into a profitable business. I've not done that (yet), so can't personally recommend it.

Here's something for you to try: six activities I'm convinced will help you choose the perfect niche for you.
(Don't respond to the activities in public. Think of your responses as trade secrets and keep them private.)

Your responses should tell you exactly what niche to choose. If at any point you wind up with no possible niches left, go back to number 1 and do some more brainstorming.

1) Name at least 10 things (the more, the better!) you have a minimum of a year's worth of recent experience in.
The "things" you list are all potential niches.

There are no "silly," "bad" or "wrong" answers. For example, these are all niches;
sleep/snoring/dreams,
showering,
buying/making clothing/outerwear/costumes/footwear/hats (for yourself or others)
shaving or beard/mustache grooming,
making/eating pickles,
brewing/drinking beer,
watching television/watching certain shows or events,
housekeeping,
home repairs/home improvement,
child rearing/babysitting,
pets/livestock,
lawn care/gardening/ranching,
some careers (electrician, plumber, Instagram model, etc.),
bowling,
woodworking,
gaming (online or tabletop),
model trains,
quilting,
stamp collecting, and
butterfly tagging.

2) Delete everything from the list you haven't spent a minimum of $100 on.
(Or at least move them to a separate list.)

If you've listed a career, expenses like training, certifications/licenses, tools, equipment, and hardware/software count toward the $100+.

For your niche to be profitable, it must have products/services for people to buy. If you've bought them yourself, people are more likely to follow your advice to buy them.

3) From the remaining items, keep only those things you could write about for a year without running out of content.

4) Circle (or otherwise mark) the item(s) you could provide your visitors the most help with.
Of the six activities, this one is the most important.

Your visitors will want to know about your experiences and get your advice and suggestions. The better you can provide those things, and the more of it you can provide, the more your visitors will appreciate and trust you and the more money you'll make.

5) Make a must-have supply list for each circled/marked item.
It's not necessary to list every possible product/service. Just list the main ones, the must-haves. You're just coming up with a list that will help you find affiliate programs.

6) Look for affiliate programs for each circled/marked item and (if applicable) the products you've listed for it.
If you don't find anything you like in "Affiliate Programs" (in the WA menu to the left), try Google. Just add "affiliate program" to the end of whatever you're hoping to find an affiliate program for.

For example, if you're considering bowling as your niche, you could Google;
bowling affiliate program
bowling equipment affiliate program
bowling products affiliate program
bowling ball affiliate program
bowling shirt affiliate program
bowling shoes affiliate program
bowling guide affiliate program
bowling training affiliate program
bowling coach affiliate program
bowling video analysis affiliate program

If you decide to do the activities, I wish you the very best of luck. If you need any clarification or get stuck on anything, let me know here. I'm happy to help all I can.

get your head out of the - i need money
and into the - i need to help people
this way people will value you and reward you.
give them enough information to make up their mind and they will click through on your link.
as for a niche - it is back to --what do you know, like ,do
write it down - anything you like - from pens through to portable power packs to mirrorless cameras.
anything can be considered a niche if it helps people.
so once you know the products you would like to concentrate on - you need to turn it around and find out what that product helps people with.
so...pens - communicating, writing, feelings of expression, becoming a writer, creating a diary, collecting pens.
niches - pen collector, writer - why use a pen instead of a computer.
portable power packs - extend the time between charges, getting off the beaten track, reassurance, insurance.
niches - get off the beaten track with your power products - which lasts the longest, best bang for your buck - most power stored in smallest space, discrete power
mirrorless cameras - recording your journey, making money, career, journalism.
niches - choosing, using and making money from your camera.

good luck
phil
seriously, for the first niche , pick something you know a little about and go with it.
as you progress through the training you may find you are drawn to something else, look into it, go back through the training and see if that is a better fit.

none the wiser on what? The training is very succinct and will take you through every step that will help you make money. But it will not be a quick thing. How far into the training have you got?
How much content have you got on your website?

I have progressed through the first section of "getting started" but have bewen told I dhould have firstly done affiliate bootcamp. Is this correct?

yes. if you dont have a niche.

Hey Kevin,

Most of us were pointed to the Online Entrepreneur Certification so we could learn the basics about creating a winning website AND affiliate marketing.

Bootcamp is for those who want to learn to create a website and be an affiliate to WA.

So... the choice is yours to make. No one can tell you which you should take.

Hope you find this helpful.

Think I need to start again?

Hi Kyle,
Having gone through the first section of training, I still have not been asked for my affiliate urL.
Is this maybe because i amx half blind and missed something

You are not asked for your Wealthy Affiliate link within wealthy affiliate - why would you be?

Your Affiliate Link is on virtually every wealthy affiliate page
See Pic

Also if you click on the Dollar Icon at the top of the screen and then Links & Tracking the next page shows you what Wealthy Affiliate Links your have.

There is also the option to create Custom Links.

Robert

Thanks for the reply robert!
My affiliate link is a link to something else entirely:
https://bit.ly/2SIKrNW

cheers
Kev

Sorry, can't visit the link Kevin my browser warned me it was a scam and blocked it. I'm not sure why you are under the impression WA would ask you for an affiliate link though? WA is a platform that teaches affiliate marketing.

You said your affiliate link, you did not specify.

Always best to be very specific when asking a question so that the membership can help.

You know exactly what you want - the membership does not.

Something to bear in mind for the future.

If you mean you want to know how to insert a link within an article in your wordpress then the process is simple.

Highlight a relevant piece of text.
Click on the little Paperclip Icon within the menu.
A box appears directly underneath the highlighted text.
You insert your affiliate link.
Then click on the little Cog Wheel to the right of the box.

Next Screen

make sure the link is actually showing in its box and tick the little Open In New Tab.
Click Insert.

Your highlighted text will have turned blue.
Click on Preview and text the link.
If it takes you to where its supposed to then job done.

That's all there is to it but maybe I have got it wrong again so you must Clarify if this is so.
Robert

I looked it up dale and this is what it said about it -

End Financial Stress Now is nothing but a sales page that sends you to another product called Duplicate Dave.

End Financial Stress is not a product, in fact, it doesn’t exist. It’s just a one page with a catchy name created by a Duplicate Dave Affiliate.

So you are buying Duplicate Dave Not End Financial Stress Now.

Hi - that appears to be your affiliate link to the Legendary Marketer program. You can't promote anything to other WA members if that is what you are trying to do. I wonder if you have lost track as to the purpose of this platform?

It is an affiliate link to the Legendary program Diane and my reply to Dale is what I found out about it.

I don't know why Kevin inserted his link when he could have just said it was another link to a program he wanted information about inserting.

Thank you, Robert. I was somewhat confused as to what Kevin was actually trying to do!

He has been here for about 9 months so he should know the rules but it could have been done in all innocence so give him the benefit of the doubt this time.
Have a good one.
Robert

Hi folks, and thanks for all your input!
Why did I decide to promote a website and not WA?
I was told to somewhere along the line.
Being that I was a mechanical engineer offshore in thrnorth sea, this is all new to me. problem is that in 1993, I was diagnosed wtth M.S. which affects EVERYTHING IN MY BODY. Includind memory, reasoning etc as well as the physical stuff (half blind also)
I have taken so long to get anywhere because of deaths ertc in family, now I am trying to succeed! Hope you understand my explanation about "me"

Also, I will concentrate on marketing W.A. now :-)

No probs but remember in future you cannot leave an affiliate link for another program within your WA comments and blogs etc etc.
Robert
