You Need an Online Brand Headquarters
I live in Bentonville, Arkansas, where Walmart just made big news this week with the announcement that they're building a new headquarters just a little east of where the current buildings sit.
It's a big deal because it changes the face of the town. Their slight shift eastward will affect retail, real estate, and traffic all over the area. Jobs will be created in the process and the economy will only grow, barring the unexpected.
You have a headquarters, too. Or at least you should, if you don't already.
If you want to do business, you need a central hub on the web. You might run niche websites about diet supplements, foot fashion, or the best-selling weather veins, but if you want to be a business, you need a spot.
So while you're working on email marketing, writing copy for products, and adding content to your websites, take care of the home office, too.
Start a website that will be about you, or about your main business, or about the one thing you're most passionate about.
Your website will help people make it onto your mailing list, and your mailing list will send them back to your website.
You'll share website content on social media, and social media will send traffic back to your website.
It's on your website that you'll do business with the rest of the world. So don't neglect it. Make your headquarters awesome!

Its a timely issue to me and I am caught up by the insight Brad!Using the website to do business with the rest of the world which is the best way to funnel the traffic!
Luckily I do have a tiny HQ without security guards, receptionists and automated phones that let you connect with extension # like 505, 807!

Just recently, I've renewed my interest in our online presence. I hadn't updated my site since 2014 until I spent a few hours yesterday cleaning it up a little. This will be my home office for awhile as God has given me a talent for it and people just won't let me quit. Word of mouth is all of our business an d business is good.
