Hint: According to research, it's $38 per $1 spent.

This is one awesome infographic. I can't put the whole thing in this post, but there's a link at the bottom to see the whole thing...

I'm learning pretty fast that while building niche sites is fun and profitable, email marketing is an incredible avenue to explore as well.

38 to 1. Are you sure? That would be a ROI of 3700%!
Well, let's do some more email marketing.
Have a nice weekend.

Yes, I'm not sure of their algorithm, but some of the other stats really fascinated me - how many people actually buy something because of email, etc.

I always thought that email marketing and building niche sites go hand in hand. Even though a website is not necessary to make money online, you can and should use email marketing to drive traffic to a website. Have the best of both worlds!

The best practic is probably to never start one without the other.

I suppose the research is right...but it seems to me that the key is properly "targeting" the email recipients...as opposed to a shotgun approach...just a thought...

Absolutely! A good list needs to be cultivated like a community and any "offer" needs to fit the community.
