Be the Right Kind of Hungry Before You Start a Business

It was partly inspired by something I see in the discussion here within the Wealthy Affiliate community that is concerning.
I see these two different kinds of desperation expressed when people talk about why they're here and why they're jumping online.
On the one hand is the kind of desperation that says, I'm in a jam and can't pay my rent, so I'll do this whole 'make money online' thing and get out of trouble... maybe even rich.
And 99% of the time, people who jump into some kind of business because of that kind of desperation wind up quitting, frustrated.
On the other hand, some are driven by a desperation to do and to create something meaningful, to have influence, to give back, to learn, to achieve and build something great.
Be very wary of the first kind of desperation. It often leads us to make missteps. Embrace the second kind of desperation. It gets us through challenges and on to the finish line.
Be the right kind of hungry before you do something crazy, like start a business.

So very true Brandon. I am always worried about the members in the first group, because there is a high probability that they will become discouraged and quit.
