14 Websites on SiteRubix
I've been a web hosting customer for a long time. I've used most of the big names in hosting at least once (Hostgator, Dreamhost, Bluehost, MediaTemple, Lunarpages, and more). Some are pretty good on the tech aspects while others are decent on the customer service end.
With the exception of two really big sites (one requires dedicated hosting and the other is on a good VPS), I've finally made the move to shift ALL 14 of my other active projects over to SiteRubix, including my main, twelve-year-old blog.
And here's why. In the few months that I've kicked the tires, I've been really pleased. The ease with which you can set up a site, change domains, and install an SSL are just a few perks. The uptime and the security are nice, too. The ease of using the email is great as well.
But it was the support that really drew me over. I had one issue in moving one site (I expected way more but was pleasantly surprised) and when I submitted a ticket, I got a response. It was quick. It worked. I was up and running again.
That's where most hosting companies miss the mark. One of the biggest of all has actually eliminated their ticketing system altogether and have replaced it with live chat. The problem is, the agent tells you he's chatting with lots of people at once and it could be a while. Sure enough, one issue took me an hour of chatting to solve because the guy was too busy.
So, SiteRubix it is. It's cheaper than what I was paying for a VPS anyway!

Hello Brandon, thank you for your interesting blog post. I have also used several hosting companies and still use a hosting company. But for the first time, I have recently put a website up on Wealthy Affiliate hosting and so far, so good! It's amazing that you have 14 projects up and you have changed them all to Wealthy Affiliate hosting, this gives me confidence to my other websites onto WA hosting. It's great that your sites were simple to move too!
All the best to you Brandon, Roy.
Hahaha! I wish I could do that! I guess success is a result of hard smart work which is paid for by less sleep at times.
Yes, the support here is really great! That's a really important fact... Godaddy has only chat support. They help you, but, as you said, it takes you minimum an hour to solve a problem...
I'm convinced. Although I have a couple Weebly sites. I'll probably keep those two as is. The rest will probably end up with SiteRubix

Definitely made the right choice Brandon. WA is truly the best.

I'd agree with that!
