Hi, I have built my new site and have added some content but when I go to view my site I get this message 'The parent theme is missing. Please install the "storeone" parent the

It seems that you have a theme installed that is derived from another theme.

What happens is that you have to have the parent theme installed, that's the one called storeone.
But you have to have the child theme activated. Say it's called storeone_child.

The theme that is active now is actually using a lot of code from the parent theme, and only overriding some parts.

From the error message I'm guessing you have the child theme installed and activated, but the parent theme is missing.

Solution: go to Appearance / Themes
there you select Add New, and there you search for storeone.

Install the StoreOne theme, but don't activate it.

Now, the child theme will be able to use the StoreOne features it needs.

Hope this works!

Cheers,
Wouter

Thanks, all sorted now

The theme you are using seems to be a child theme.
A child theme always needs its parent theme to work.

So you have to go to "themes" on your dashboard and install the storeone theme.

If it's not available there, google for it and you will find it.
