My conversion rate on Amazon dropped from 5.5% to 0% (on steady click volume) since mid-January. Has anyone else seen this happen? Any ideas on the cause?

This does no

If Amazon made changes to its website layout, design, or functionality,, this could confuse customers and make it harder for them to find and purchase products. Reorganized navigation menus or changed checkout processes could also reduce conversions.
Conversions could drop if Amazon's products become less price competitive compared to rival retailers. Additionally, frequent price changes and a lack of transparency around pricing could lead to lower customer confidence and lost sales.

Link functionality? Or possibly something to do with their policy? Product relevance or audience behaviors?

Have not updated my posts in a long time. I am trying to change wording within an existing post. When I click on update it says "Updating failed"

Hi, Brad, you may need to go into draft mode to make the changes.

Open the page or post you want to update, click on Edit Post (or Page), and in text mode you should see this (see Image 1). Click on Publish Edit and you should see this (Image 2), in the drop down choose Draft, click on OK - Update.

Now make your changes to Post or Page, click on Publish - Update - Preview Changes to see if the changes have been made. Hope this help, best wishes..

are you writing in site content and then trying to update it in site content. If you are you can't you need to go directly to your blog www.insertyourblognamehere.com/wp-admin go to the dashboard go to posts open the post and edit it there and either click save and update if there are two options. Save won't necessarily do it on its own need to save it and then updated and you should be fine

I'm not for sure but try to update again and refresh your page hope this helps, I haven't had that happen to me so hope this helps

Why won't post update my wording when I click "update"?

Has anyone had a direct conversation with MailChimp about the prohibition on Affiliate marketing? The ToS is vague. Are they referring to:

-- sites that offer Affiliate

No but I did send in a request for more information when I was researching different auto-responding software. This might help to decide on an alternative:

Thanks all. I disabled MailChimp yesterday. Need to figure out the replacement.

Hi Brad,
I recently did a review on MailChimp and the section you want to review is in their Acceptable Use Policy, not the TOS. Yes, they definitely list Affiliate Marketing as one of the businesses that is not allowed to use their services. If you do, you run the risk of your website getting banned and you can imagine what that can cause to your ongoing business. I include this information in my review at:

http://momstrustedaffiliate.com/what-is-the-best-free-auto-responder-MailChimp

I also recently came across an article written by someone whose website was banned without any prior notice and she finally found out it was due to being an affiliate marketing site.

Although it is a good choice for small online businesses to use, I did not recommend it for affiliate marketers. If they use it they must be willing to accept being penalized later by MailChimp. They will eventually get to you.

I went to MailChimp and read their "Acceptablr Use Policy". In there they clearly state that Afiliate Marketing is among the "Prohibited Content".

Their statement about this is given as:"Some industries have higher-than-average abuse complaints, which can jeopardize the deliverability of our entire system. Nothing personal, but in order to maintain the highest delivery rates possible for all our customers, we can’t allow businesses that offer these types of services, products, or content:"

And after this statement there were a long list of prohibited content, among them Affiliate Marketing.
So according to their "Acceptable Use Policy" Affiliate Marketing is not allowed to be included in the emails to be sent out using MailChimp.

I had read the ToS. Has anyone had their MailChimp service cut off due to being an Affiliate Marketer?

Great question. I will await the answer!

Although they infer that it is indeed possible to use MailChimp, their entire policy structure is anti-affiliate marketing. They went on and on with various scenarios and excuses for why you might be marked spam....from what I have come across on searches and reading other blogs/websites it would seem MailChimp is great for newsletters but not for affiliate marketing. My vote would be to use a different service for your affiliate marketing ventures. One nice thing, though....I ran across a nice tool to see if a site or email address is blacklisted:

Hi, I am replying to this thread because I would like to know also,
Are they just talking about placing affiliate links in emails?
Anyone have more detailed info?

Interested in finding out more info too... have seen several blogs talking about it. Getting ready to add that to the websites. Does anyone know? Thanks, Rod and Troy

MailChimp hates affiliate programs, it's only good for people who sell their own products.
